So basically, the spec ops would take out a city, or attack one, or something, and then when a lot of "insurgents" were wiped out of the area, my bro would go set up fuel stations, so that incoming military forces would be able to fuel up while combating or passing through.

@yuta7468627 the education is not horrible, by that I mean that there are plenty of resources available for people to get educated.. and for free. Libraries, community colleges (pell grants, and senate/delegate grants enable many independent students to go to college for free.) I think that my area is filled with low ambition because most people grow to be mechanics or mill workers, or dock workers or independent business owners.
@mikelunz In the respect of ambition, that is not untypical that youth lack it. Obviously people at least in industrialized country much more easily get what they want than older generation. Most "developed(I don't like this way to call)" countries have already stopped their significant improvement of lives. Now people's concern is not on what they live but how they live. @yuta7468627 the main problem as far as the real national security goes, I believe, is that since so much of american life revolves around "consumerism," then people are forgetting how to take care of themselves if "consumerism," did not exist. i.e. building their houses, hunting for food, growing food, tending to sick if no hospitals are there. The advertising campaigns that go on around my area are ridiculous because NO ONE can really even afford to be buying anything half the time.

He came back with some pictures of some friends he made in the Iraq military, and some friends of iraqi villagers who invited him to vacation in Iraq after the war, and stay with them. @yuta7468627 sure, my brother is in the USMC, and is a bulk fuel specialist (not exactly the hottest job or coolest stereotype, ha.) So basically, the spec ops would take out a city, or attack one, or something, and then when a lot of "insurgents" were wiped out of the area, my bro would go set up fuel stations, so that incoming military forces would be able to fuel up while combating or passing through.

They set up outside of the cafeterias in school (or did when I was in HS,) they also wander around the malls and ask retail workers alot, ha. A lot of people walk in though, because our area is kinda... not rich.. and the military is a good escape as opposed to many other options.. here..

Libraries, community colleges (pell grants, and senate/delegate grants enable many independent students to go to college for free.) I think that my area is filled with low ambition because most people grow to be mechanics or mill workers, or dock workers or independent business owners.

i think the problem is that American people are made to believe that we are a benevolent country that fights for justice.but like you said realistically there is an "American Global interests" & that interest is in the benefit of us & in the detriment of whoever has the resources we want. I would like to believe that people can live without exploiting each other, but first we have to stop believing that the only way to get ahead is to beat the competition.

No the UN leading the enforcement of international and human rights law is not good, Obama want to give the UN 800 billion to feed other Nations, And that would lead the UN to define our laws, Good Buy Constitution, look at Canada, The UN wants to finalize a U.N. treaty that would strip all citizens of of their right to self-protection, and strip you of your rights under the Second Amendment. Have you heard of the Nuremburg Tribunals, Geneva Conventions, etc? They were designed, and the U.N. was set up, to prevent future wars of aggression. If you want the UN to 'stay out of America', just look at the weaknesses of the failed League of Nations, which America was not a member of. The failures of the League of Nations set the stage for the aggression of Germany, Italy and Japan and the Second World War.

I'm not talking about the U.N. coming and 'taking your guns' or whatever, I'm talking about them enforcing international law. You wouldn't be in the sticky situation you guys are in at the moment if the U.N. had enforced international law and prevented your country from invading Iraq.
And what did go on in the Second World War? Well a lot of people died as a result of Germany, Italy and Japan's aggression.
