  • Today's music video's need more lasers

  • He made some awesome music in the eighties...MORE FANTASTIC ´80´s music at my channel!!!

  • All of the keyboards on this song were played by Mico Wave, at 2:13 is when Herbie

came in and played a lead synth line, the song was also written by Mico wave , Bootsy, Herbie and Sugar foot the song was done on a fairlight at quad studios 1988

  • I love this collaboration! Sugarfoot from the Ohio Players voice is perfect for this type of song. I agree with statelybird3, it should have been a bigger hit. Not sure why it wasn't.

  • Alot of crossover music was happening at the time. This was deemed too black !

  • Thanks for posting this video. I haven't seen it in years and the old copy I had of it was very poor quality.

It's a great example of HH's work and I love the Laserium backdrop for the song, too!

  • Hell,yeah--I taped this song off a record back in the day--I caught a video of it on BET and got hooked on it---never understood why it wasn't a bigger hit, because it's a funky-ass jam that was off the chain! This came out back in 1988.

  • thanks for uploading this!

  • Does anyone know who the singer is? He sounds like a cross between Roger Troutmann of Zapp and Bootsy Collins. His vocals are banging though!

  • vocals on this track are by Leroy 'Sugarfoot' Bonner & Bootsy Collins... on vocoder

  • @statelybird3 That's Sugarfoot from the Ohio Players

  • @bowwow73 the same 'sugarfoot' who played in The Jacksons live tours?
