  • I have no idea what this guy is talking bout. My volume wasnt working. Can anyone explain this video to me??

  • Omg what a fucking fool.. School systems must be reformed.. Everything about it must be reformed.. These people are exactly the reason why its not happening.. They hold on to older values and truths and have no idea wtf is going on.. As for reading, stop feeding our children books that are supposed to be good because they have some nice message in it or something, give them something interesting to read and your problem is solved...

  • Let's educate a new generation by firing teachers, shuttering schools and using decade-old text books. Yeah, that'll work! And free-market solutions will magically fix everything to the way they were back in the good ole days, replete with segregation, sexism and economic exploitation of working people. PALIN 2012!!!!

  • @encyclopediajake GREAT idea since schools are teaching left wing propaganda, comrade. Home schooled and private education produce vastly superior education, but you can't have that because Russia and Cuba have proven their system really works. Why don't you move to a communist country and leave us Americans with what is left of our freedoms. Bet you can't pass this test. Video, Education in 1895 vs. "Education" Today

  • @BereanBeacon1 Did the University of Phoenix recruiter tell you that or was it in their employment brochure? The world's best education system is in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. It's central-government run, test free and extremely expensive. Education isn't junk on 'Roll Back' at Wal-Mart. And if you want to force generations of kids into ignorance, why don't you move somewhere crappy and ignorant like Somalia? (You belong!) I'll stay where I am, if just to marginalize lunatics like you.

  • @encyclopediajake Fucking catcher in the rye or Shakespeare won't get people to read... Not because these books are no good, but because we are our own generation,.. Reading should be fun and educational, not just educational, because you see what it gets you... We need writes and books that belong to our voice, our minds and our hearts..

  • @BereanBeacon1 Omg shut the fuck up please.. How old are you? Its not that simple dude.. My generation is learning by everything we do.. Sure our spelling may suck.. Sure we may haven't read to many books.. But what about the music? The movies? The games we play? The media is everywhere.. Times have changed in a way that was only seen when fire or the wheel was invented.. All systems are crumbling since we need new ones.. The world isn't going to hell, we just need to change it once again...

  • @encyclopediajake Hahaha indeed, vote palin if you like that shit! Its so amazing that people don't realize how far we have come, as a species.. Instead they monger around fantasizing about the good old days.. Totally forgetting that there are no good old days.. We never had it this good.. We just need to push forwards for another 100 years or so, globally work together, and we could be home free and exist for ever!

  • @TTFLS2 Your side is soon to collapse. People see the genocide that you have caused with your hatred of White society, and you are going to pay heavily for the evils that you have done. My cousin lives in California, and tells stories of how your precious minorities have destroyed quality of life for everyone. Keep lying as your liberal media does. Things were better before your satanic ways surfaced. And your quality of life is going to diminish when you and your kind are brought to justice.

  • @aTellerOfTruths lol yeah right, try and bring white people to 'justice'... They will exterminate you..

  • I get a good laugh over baseless claims like these. The facts are that 150 years ago 20% of the US population was illiterate. Education reforms in the early 20th Century brought those down to 5% by WWII, 2.5% in the 1950s, to less than 0.06% now. It is always easy to look back and feel like things were better way back when, but it is rarely supported by facts.

  • @LithodidMan Correction - modern illiteracy rate is 0.6%, not 0.06%

  • @LithodidMan Wow thats great!! If they lower the standards a little more, nobody will be illiterate. You must be a public school teacher.

  • @cheynarose It has nothing to do with lowering standards, it has everything to do with major changes in the US public education system in the early 20th Century. Why demonize public school teachers btw? I am not one but work very closely with them in developing better science curricula.

  • @LithodidMan Poor Reading Skills Drive New Federal Initiatives

New federal initiatives aim to improve early reading instruction in schools across the country.

Try this test. Video, Education in 1895 vs. "Education" Today

  • @LithodidMan You are so fucking right.. All we do is move forward and yet every generation, doesn't matter if they where ruled by a dictator 20 years ago, longs for 'the good old days'... Shit even the Greek philosophers already wrote down that every generation thinks this is the time all will go to hell and long for the old days.. Its a myth, it doesn't exist...

  • Yes this is the way it was when I was in school. Sad sad sad! Are kids are not being educated!

  • @MsFreedom2fly That is why they understand the modern world better then anyone? Because they are not being educated? Its exactly this kind of thinking, based on assumptions, emotions and fantasy, that my generation is beating.. Its all about practical policy, instead of one based on fantasy.. Which has been the case ever since human kind appeared on the stage...

  • As a retired public school teacher I know--for sure--that public schools cannot be reformed. We must RESCUE our children! Get them into home or Christian schools before it is too late.

  • @theinsectmanofwv

Amen! If I ever have children I will never ever put them in public school. Ever! Thank you for speaking out the truth.

  • Doz hiz bok hav alota big wordz in it? cuz if it doz then ferget it.

  • Same with high school. Wife taught classes for several years before quiting. Most students could not adequately read. Instead of science, class curriculum was to have seniors cut pictures from magazines to make mobiles (thing that spins over baby crib). Feelings were all important. Pairing good students with bad, even on exams, was the norm (makes bad students feel good). Students caught cheating were not suspended (student might feel bad). Fights, rude behavior, and bullying were commonplace.

  • mockingly using this guys teaching methods to teach HIM to fly...Flap your forelimbs you need to learn to fly little birdie. Keep practicing , it will make your forelimbs strong enough so you can fly. Your not trying hard enough. Flap your forelimbs lard ass. I find it stupid that you as a human(legally speaking that is)can not fly by flapping your forelimbs rapidly. BTW i am selling a book that will teach others my ideology. Or am i selling an idol of ignorance to reinforce ignorance.

  • You gotta keep the kids stupid so they'll be good creationists and support the tea party movement.

  • Hey- that's my dad in that video, and I can honestly say that he is an excellent writer and everything in his book is true. The government is trying to stupify our nation and we Americans are so blind that we won't even realize what is going on until it is too late.

  • You can start by making it mandatory that teachers have a degree of some kind. I was surprised to learn that my son's teacher had a GED, nothing more. Teachers need to learn before they can teach.

  • wow thats f*ing nuts

  • parent should also take parenting class b efore having children

  • @01021972tom HAHAHAHA what the fuck, that's a blatant lie.

  • Ah woz cindamprest bi al ewe saad butt knot bi ure dilivry.

  • The zionist destoyed the American education system unpurpose. The system is rather succesful you see. It is doing exactly what it was supposed to do, graduate idiots.

  • Turn the microphone volume up. I had to crank my computer's volume nearly to it's max to sufficiently hear you. Afterwards, turn the piano music down.

Beyond that, I agree with your basic premise about students, even at the high school level, not being expected to read or write. My wife quit as a high school math & history teacher simply because she wasn't really allowed to teach. She felt like a babysitter instead. She now works here in Europe as a financial analyst for the US government.

  • WHAT??!

  • Comment removed

  • The piano is distracting.

  • i bet it is.

  • Agreed. The piano volume competes with his voice. If lowered by about 1/3rd, I think it would help.

  • May God help us all because we are in trouble!!!

  • @watchmannow Problems are solutions m8, don't spend your life worry too much...

  • Its the same problem here in the UK too!!

  • @excatholics Ffs don't worry so much.. If we keep our head cool everything will be all right!
