  • The whole screwjob thing might have been prevented if bret signed with wcw for only 1 year than have wwf offer him a better contract later on. He probably would've returned by early 99, it doesn't have to be a 20 million dollar contract. but I believe bret wouldn't have mind wrestling at lower pay, as long as he was with wwf. It was unfortunate that vince picked the business over the wrestlers' well being.

  • I give this a thumbs down, since it's extremely difficult to find Part 3

  • @ECWnWWF its at the right part of the screen

  • @ECWnWWF watch?v=svjERXzi1QM&feature=related

  • Such an amazing match.

  • Say what you want, but Vince was one of the best announcers ever. These were great times to be a wrestling fan. But it sure was hard deciding which one to watch on monday night. It was hard to not tune in and see what kind of chaos and anarchy the nWo was causing ha ha

  • Whenever I look back on this feud between Bret Hart and Steve Austin, I can imagine Austin being a heel if he was in Hulk Hogan's era back in the 80's.

  • Austin VS Hart's a great 1

  • Man, why can't the commentary be this good today?

  • @dudemanbearpig You're telling me. These days all Cole and Lawler do is talk about outside storylines if it's not the main event. Vince and JR were into every move and broke down history and strategy. They really added to this match,

  • @ajbahus MR Mcmahon and Jim Ross, are The Best Color Commentators right next to Heenan and Monsoon, JBL was A Color Commentator for the Now Defunc Viper Fight League, you're Right Cole and Lawler Talk a bit too much about one another having nothing to Do with The Match ups or storylines

  • @dudemanbearpig

Was just thinking "man i miss wrestling commentary."

  • When wrestling was treated like a sport and actually looked real.

  • To me.. these two guys are FRIENDS in their normal life. To me.. these two guys are ACTING To me.. these two are ACTING.. in a PHYSICAL/ATHLETIC way To me.. I know this is scripted. To me.. They are still PHYSICAL To me.. This is ENTERTAINMENT To me.. Darts/Bowls/Golf are Sports and are LESS PHYSICAL To me.. This is Sports Entertainment To me.. This is still scripted To me.. I don't care if its scripted To me.. Its enjoyable to watch To me.. Haters can burn in hell.
  • Bret Hart matches and promos were so boring

especially when he had matches with the big guys (only attacked the legs during the whole match) watch bret vs diesel matches then you'll see what I'm talking about

  • @mancalledstinger Kevin Nash has consistently stated that his matches with Bret were some of his favorite matches. Plus, I think that's a little more realistic than super-kicking a 7-foot, 300+ lb guy. Bret's finisher was a leg lock, after all.

  • @mancalledstinger It's called technical wrestling or real wrestling and in some peoples opinions that's sports entertainment.

  • @mancalledstinger I know what you mean with the leg thing, but if you were really fighting a big guy you'd go for the legs, chop him down to your size. It might not have been that exciting but it was a realistic thing to do.

  • The guy that said "austin you suck" defenitly changed his mind in the future

  • In reality, Bret used WCW's leverage to back Vince into a corner to get that deal out of the WWF. Bret might have thought he did the right thing by staying for less $, but to Vince n the office Bret used the WCW card to his advantage. Bret could've stayed, Vince had the $ to pay him full, he chose to leave cus he wasn't goin to b the top dog n was expected to put over HBK on more than one occasion.

  • @theShowStopper321 That's not true. Bret WAS given a big offer by WCW & went to Vince about it, but he accepted a lot less money for the stability of a contract good till 2008 & he was happy about it. VINCE was the guy that backed out of the contract less than a year later & he even suggested that Bret should see if his previous offer from WCW was still good. Bret has said on a number of occasions that he wasn't greedy for money he was greedy for respect. In the end Vince didn't give him respect

  • @RicoLen1 Yes it was. Bret even said it in his book. He wanted to get an offer from WCW to use it to put Vince against the wall to get the most money out of Vince. Yes, Vince suggested he might have to back out of the deal but he never did. He paid him in full until he left. Vince came to BRet in October n said that the money was no longer a problem n he could pay him in full no matter what, n BRet chose to leave even after that. I'll cite that if u want from the book.

  • @theShowStopper321 Wow, that's interesting. I believe you. The problem is that that documentary, "wrestling with shadows" tells a different story, straight from Bret Hart's mouth. If you watch that he says essentially the same thing I said.

  • @RicoLen1 I'll add more

  • @theShowStopper321 "I'll cite that if u want from the book."

Actually, please do, I would like to see that, and then re-watch the Wrestling with Shadows documentary and see what the deal is, because things just don't add up the way they stand right now.

  • @RicoLen1 I wll cite it. Give me a min. "Wrestling with Shadows" is totally biased towards Bret cus he made it. It was his own perception about himself and the message he wanted to get across. The book is more the truth.

  • @theShowStopper321 Yeah, but isn't the book written by Bret Hart? Bah, I just don't get it right now. You've totally got me confused. You know? Maybe now would be a good time to pick up some of these wrestling biography books. I don't think our local Border's has closed yet, maybe I could get some cheap. I've always wanted to read Mick Foley's books too.

  • @RicoLen1 This is from Oct. 1997: "When I arrived at Nassau Coliseum Oct. 24, Vince was there to greet me. He told me that he could pay me after all, that money was no longer the problem. I told him I'd likely stay, but told him I had to keep my options opened in case his plans for me weren't what I wanted." Later, Vince laid out storylines in which Bret wouldn't be the champ n would b putting people over, n decided to leave cus he didn't want to lose n wanted to b the champ. I'll add more.

  • @RicoLen1 From early 1996: "My contract would expire while I was off, leaving me in a great bargaining position if I wanted to play the WCW card. I didn't ever want to end up there, but if I could show Vince my loyalty by not going I thought I could ride my WWF career out in grand style. I was looking to get a high offer from WCW so I could hold it against Vince and make him give me a great deal."

  • @theShowStopper321 lol well that's a new twist in that story I didn't know about... it's starting to look more and more like Bret in fact DID screw Bret.

  • @RicoLen1 Yes, I'm taking these from Bret's book. He's being candid n telling what really happened. I'll keep adding more. I love Bret, but he def. helped play into his own demise. He had just as big of an ego, if not bigger than Shawn.

  • @RicoLen1 Before SS 1997: "When I asked Vince what he had in mind for me, he gave me that stupid laugh of his n told me that first I'd put Shawn over at SS, then put him over at IYH in Dec. that would lead to a ladder match at Royal Rumble where I'd put him over again. Finally I'd challenge him on RAW saying I'd quit forever if I didn't win, and I would get my hand raised. You've got to be kidding, I said. I decided to leave after that conversation."

  • @theShowStopper321 "Finally I'd challenge him on RAW saying I'd quit forever if I didn't win, and I would get my hand raised."

That really doesn't sound that bad... hmm... I think more than anything you've convinced me to buy a few books. Bret Hart, Bobby Heenan, Mick Foley, I think would be the first ones I'll get.

  • @RicoLen1 Once u read Bret's book you'll start to see that he's a huge mark for himself. I'd like to read more wrestlers books of guys who were in the locker room when the kliq was there n give their honest opinions about Michaels.

  • @theShowStopper321 Shawn never dropped a belt in the ring during the 90's(with the exception of WM 14). Who was the real self-mark?

  • @918Anon

Shawn only dropped the belt @ WM14 cause he got threatened by The Undertaker (real)

  • @mancalledstinger Haha nice to hear that the Bone Street Krew actually did what they said they were gonna

  • The stun gun @ 1:35!!!

  • Stone Cold was totally made by Vince McMahon....just one former stupid redneck...Bret made himself nwit modesty n only willin 2 be on top after a whoopin generation, wit reluctance while Steve Austin try hard 2 be on top 4m the start....as selfish and popular as he could fuckin, bald headed cunt,be

  • @adxess not really, the raw character of Steve Austin was formulated in a short stay with ECW, Vince just had the resources to push him. Austin was a talented entertainer, you cant sell a gimmick if they guy sucks. Austin even wrestled like a total dick, as per his character.

  • @adxess : Vince McMahon had about as much to do with the Stone Cold character as you do with common sense. As snappy452 stated, the personality of the 'Stone Cold' character started in ECW with his first shoot promo directed at Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, and Dusty Rhodes. Austin's ex-wife Jeannie came up with the 'Stone Cold' name. Now the Austin/McMahon feud helped the Austin character GROW, but Vince did not create it.

  • Listen 9 : 11 to 9 : 12

The Dude screams Austin you Suck : )

  • Bret actually worked the foreign tours all thru 1996 but JR and Vince r trying to make Austin look stronger by their commentary saying Bret has ring rust and etc.

  • and that's the bottom line. Why???? Because stone cold says so!!!

  • that's strange - when Austin made his winning stance at 03:39 there were both 'Booo!'s and 'Yeah!'s at the same time )))

  • I always wondered what happens if a superstar wrestle and they had bad hygene?

  • vince was absolutely insane for letting the WWF/E turn into what it has become. he will never see true pops or matches like these again.

the last "great" WWF match i can think of was Taz vs. Kurt Angle at the 2000 Rumble. MSG almost exploded when Taz's music came on, and the match had it all. stuff like that they can hardly repeat nowadays.

daniel bryan vs. CM punk at wrestlemania is the only thing i can think of now that would possibly rival what has happened in the past.

  • @dchockeygoali07 i do agree with u on bryan vs punk at wm. that would be epic! but like i said earlier wwe dont give the right people pushes so i dont think we will see bryan in a high profile wm match but who knows maybe wwe will start making smart decisions, there doing a great job with punk right now

  • @JohnnyJovi it's crazy i said that 5 months ago, and quite possibly, that match will hapen at wrestlemania 28. hahahha. bryan cashing in his contract at money in the bank, the kings of wrestling leaving ROH for the WWE, and i can honestly see cm punk holding on to the title 'til wrestlemania.

i'm suddenly optimistic for the WWE again. haha

  • Austin needed Bret to get ahead. Shawn Michaels needed an emotional head-injury that scared people because they couldn't tell if it was real. Bret only needed the opportunity to wrestle, which is why he was the greatest of all-time. It was a sure-fire thing that if Bret was wrestling, he would have the best match of the night. This is pro-wrestling, not pro swearing and flipping people off, nor bullying your way to the top by refusing to drop matches (like Shawn). Bret was in his own class.

  • i want HD video!

    go go go REMASTERIZED!

  • best times of wwe were 92-2001

  • @jackrothwell he didnt make him loose. he told bret that he was going to win then fucked him over

  • thats bret's best ring wear

  • @canadiancountryboy94 funny you should say that because its for me one of brets best tights. but recently on twitter he said it was his least favourite. wm12 was his favourite gear

  • i would have loved to see Kurt vs Bret!!! No matter who is heel or face it works

  • My 2nd favorite WWF match of 1996, after HBK/Mankind at IYH 10. Overall a bit of a weak year for me, but a couple matches were really amazing.

  • @FK42 if u knew ure facts u would know that vince wanted bret to leave as he couldn't honour his contract

  • @rossa90rfc ok, if Vince couldn't honour brets contract , bret could have continued working with the wwe on a smaller pay , dont u think so ?

  • @FK42 Bret's ego was as big as they came, and so was Austin's once Bret was out of the picture. Austin was scheduled to be in a feud with Lesnar when Lesnar got his big push, but Austin vetoed all matches. soon after, Austin was fired, and has never had an official match since.

both of them might've earned everything they got, but in the end, money and ego's ruin everything that is perfect. Austin + Vince singlehandedly blew up a $100+ million enterprise, WWE is dying as I speak.

  • @dchockeygoali07

WWE started dying because of Lesnar's big push. It used to be that you had to earn your way to the top. Now with today's WWE system of making champions guys like Shamus and Lesnar don't even have to wait or do anything for their push. They get it handed to them for doing nothing. That's what's killing WWE not for the reasons you come up with moron.

  • @AAAnderson001 wow, sand in your vagina much?

  • @dchockeygoali07

it's funny how you talk about vaginas when the only one you've ever seen is your mom's.

  • @AAAnderson001 first time I heard that I fell off my dinosaur from laughing...

looking at some of your comments, it seems all you do is start shit and sound like a retarded teenager. problem is, you're 32. just because you were one of those kids who got embarrassed at high school every day doesn't mean you have to take it out on the rest of us. move on man, move on.

  • @dchockeygoali07

really? what were you doing with that dinosaur? humping it? Maybe that's what made the entire species extinct, physical contact with a piece of trash like you. I didn't start nothing. I just happen to take exception to your blaming Stone Cold for the downfall of WWE just because he refused to be a guinea pig for a piece of incompetent scum that never should've been in the wrestling business in the first place.

  • @AAAnderson001 uh, it's called putting someone over; and every wrestler will have to do it at some point or another. steve was a fucking moron during that situation, end of story.

anyway, you're ridiculous. good job getting wayyy too angry at a few little jokes. hah.

  • @dchockeygoali07

The only moron I see around here is you because of your reckless reasoning. I don't give a crap about putting people over. If the guy is new he has to earn the right to get in the ring with main event talent like Stone Cold especially if he's gonna be booked to beat him.

  • @dchockeygoali07

End of story my ass, I will not stand for new guys getting hotshotted to main event spots and I certainly won't stand for unreasonable jackasses like you trashing on a main eventer who has earned the right to be choosy about who he loses to. your opinions are completely pathetic and unreasonable and deserving of a good slap in the face and a good swift kick in the ass. As for getting angry at a few little jokes I'm only angry at one joke and that's you.bigmouth.

  • @AAAnderson001 the main event for WM this year is The Miz and Cena, wtf!

  • @MrHardrockfan666

The other main event for this year's Wrestelemania is Del Rio vs Edge. DOUBLE NO TRIPLE WTF!

  • @AAAnderson001 lol, Jerry Lawler Vs. Michael Cole, give me a break

  • @MrHardrockfan666

If they give the WHC belt to Del Rio I say we RIOT!!!!!!!

  • @AAAnderson001 lol, Del Rio, fucking Razor Ramon ripoff

  • @MrHardrockfan666

Only difference is Razor Ramon had the Razor's Edge to get him through his career while DelRio had his own edge which is the approval of a dumbass senior citizen (who hates the word 'wrestling') who's too quick to put championships on new guys.

  • @AAAnderson001 it was a triple main event Taker vs triple h was the other main event

  • @merman08

actually Del Rio vs Edge was a semi-main event cuz only one of them was a true main eventer and it wasn't del rio.

  • @AAAnderson001 still Del Rio won the royal rumble, the World heavyweight title match should of been higher up on the card maybe not main event but its Smackdowns big championship. Why they made them open the show I have no idea, cause the time your giving to that match your making the World title match feel more like an IC title match

  • @merman08

except del rio was not a legitimate tlte contender. he didn't earn that Royal Rumble win so that makes him a joke of a contender and it's for that reason that title match didn't belong higher up on the card.

  • @dchockeygoali07 .....Austin left for health reasons. Guy was 3 bumps from being paralysed. And he refused to show up for matches because he disapproved of them handing Lesnar his fame so quickly and he was actually suppose to defeat Austin. Austin thought that was unfair to him, the fans, and to Lesnar himself cause it would have been obvious he was handed his position if he defeated someone of Austins calibur after JUST entering WWE as a rookie. But the main reason was health

  • @SageofSorrow

Just like they did to Sheamus. They put the title on him way too soon. No disrespect to Sheamus, but I don't think he is world title material. They should have put the U.S. or Intercontinental title on him first. Now Sheamus's career is not making sense.

  • @dchockeygoali07 Bret left in 97 and lesnar didnt sign with wwf until 2000 and didnt appear on tv until 2002. i dont know where u get ur info but its wrong, and to say you havent seen a great match since 2000 u must of stopped watching all 2gether. 01 to 04 had some awesome matches, angle vs benoit, eddie vs benoit , lesnar vs rvd just to name a few. the main problems i see with wwe is the dont give pushes to the right people, ken anderson and Elijah Burke are two great talents wwe slip away

  • Bret never left his prime, he was great in the 80's and 90's

  • Bret said hes greedy for respect and not money, but he left for the wcw cuz they paid him a lot more money than what he was getting at the wwf . . .

  • Did was when wrestling was evolving with the times.I enjoyed this era along with the realness of the old school NWA/WCW wrestling. The WWE right now is MEANINGLESS-the matches have no excitement & people has to be tired of seeing the same thing over & over & over (example:Orton vs.Cena)

  • bret hart was brilliant, no other word for it

  • I gotta say that Bret Hart v. Steve Austin is probably responsible for some of my favourite matches. I'd compare their chemistry in the ring to the chemistry between Hart and Mr. Perfect. You don't see it all that often in wrestling. These two really knew how to work a match.

  • your both wrong about one thing.. vince gave bret 2 mill.. that was the richest deal in all of pro wrestling.. it was like a 20 yr contractg that bret later opted out of following the screjob incident

  • It's Vince's fault that we never saw Bret vs Angle during the attitude era. Bret was willing to recieve lower pay in order to stay loyal to him, but the jackass told Bret to go to WCW.

  • @maxpower789z Wrong! Bret already took less money than what he was offered by WCW to stay loyal to Vince.

  • @jp3813 I figured thats what you meant...but Bret knew WCW was a second rate league compared to WWF and didn't want to go anywhere.

  • @maxpower789z A second rate league that was kicking the WWF's ass in the ratings war and was actually making money rather than losing them. Which is why they could offer more money to Bret than Vince. But again, Bret wanted to stay loyal to the WWF.

  • @maxpower789z WTF are you talking about? He gambled w/ negotiations??? Vince is the one who told him to negotiate! WWF wasn't in any danger??? Vince is the one who told Bret that his company was in danger. Bret wasn't willing to step down??? He already took less money to begin with and when Vince told him to jump ship to WCW, that's when he finally did. Nothing you just said makes any sense and doesn't change the fact that Vince is the reason we never saw Bret vs Angle.

  • @maxpower789z WRONG!!! Bret left b/c Vince told him to. Vince said that his company is in danger and doesn't know where to take the Hitman character anymore. Bret never negotiated anything about being the top guy in the WWF. Which is why he turned heel in the first place in order to make way for a new babyface named Stone Cold Steve Austin. Even if you try to justify what Vince had to do, that doesn't change the fact that if he allowed Bret to stay, we could've had Bret vs Angle.

  • @maxpower789z Again, nothing you say makes any sense b/c it's not grounded by any facts. Here are the facts: Bret was willing to step down and turn heel to make way for other babyfaces like Steve Austin, and he was willing to take less money to compensate for the WWF's losses. Bret never forced Vince. He did everything that Vince told him to do up until SS '97. You're simply making shit up and not basing it on reality. In the end, the only fact you have is that Vince forced Bret to go to WCW.

  • Let me help you base your claims on reality. You say that Bret forced Vince to let him go to WCW. Here's the big question: HOW??? Oh, and here are two big facts that you cannot overturn:

    1) Given that Austin was the new babyface, Bret was willing to step down to make way for other superstars.

    2) Given that Bret didn't take WCW's offer, he was willing to take less money by the WWF just to stay loyal to Vince.

  • @jp3813 You're equating turning heel with not being at the top. A top babyface needs a top heel to fight against. I think that makes sense. Bret wanted to be that guy.

Also, I think you're confused by the whole "less money" ideal. Bret negotiated the top deal made to a WWF superstar because he took advantage of the situation...that situation being that Vince couldn't afford to lose any talent to WCW. Bret dangled that possibility in front of Vince and got more than what he asked for.

  • @jp3813 Also, having mandatory World Title runs in your contract doesn't sound like a guy who wants to step down to me.

  • @maxpower789z I agree that Vince didn't want to lose Bret which is why he signed a 20-year contract. But I suggest you watch the documentary Wrestling with Shadows b/c Bret clearly asked Vince to negotiate w/ him again. In response, Vince simply told Bret where the Hitman goes from here. Hence, Vince refused to renegotiate Bret's contract. As for stepping down as the top heel. Sorry, but under Bret's contract, he doesn't have creative control on his character until his last 30 days w/ the WWF.

  • @jp3813 Shit...we're dumbasses for arguing all this shit from the past. Let's crack open a cold one...it's the weekend.

  • Keep in mind that WCW always offered better salary, better creative control, and better ratings. If Bret wanted that, he could've jumped ship in the first place.

  • @jp3813 Reply next time. He already knew WCW had nothing for him but money. And he already had considered jumping ship LONG before he got booted, but the WWF had prestige, WCW didn't...and Bret knew it.

  • @maxpower789z Thought you said it was dumb to argue any further about this subject? But I agree. It wasn't about money, creative control, or ratings (things that WCW offered) for Bret. He's always been loyal to his WWF fans and that's one of the big reasons he didn't jump ship like Hogan. Despite the ratings, WCW was the inferior show, and Vince also knew that.

  • @jp3813 Naw, it's not dumb to argue any further on the subject...just with you. One thing I can tell is that you refuse to take anything Bret has said or did with any scrutiny.

  • @maxpower789z Don't try to stray from the subject just b/c we already agreed on something. If you have nothing else to say about it, then there's nothing to argue about. Also, if you think it's dumb to argue w/ me, then stop talking to me. Remember, you're the one who first replied to me. I was just minding my own business.

  • @jp3813 Will do.

  • @jp3813

I agree with your comment 100%. However, what Vince never told anybody was that he believed that Bret Hart outlived his usefulness in the WWF. In addition, Vince told Bret months before he was screwed that he would be doing the WWF a favor if he did leave. Think of the investments that Vince made after Bret Hart's departure: He payed Mike Tyson $3 millions to do a storyline with the Federation which sent the WWF ratings shooting sky high. 1998 generated $54.5 million for the WWF.

  • @daniel022209 If Vince never told anybody then how come you know about it? lol! Just kidding. But yeah, at the time, Bret's era was ending. But it doesn't change the fact that if Vince hadn't screwed him, we could've seen at least one match w/ him and Angle. Hogan's era was long gone, and yet we got to see him in the ring w/ Rock, Austin, Triple H, etc... As I said before, Bret was willing to renegotiate his salary. But I think Vince wanted to make an example of him given what Hall and Nash did.

  • @jp3813 Bret could have kept wrestling for many years after that had the screw job never taken place. It makes me angry to think of it at times. I'd like to think that in an alternate reality, Bret continued to wrestle in the WWF and carried on to have great feuds with The Rock, Stone Cold, HBK, Kurt Angle, Vince and so on. What could have been.......

  • @jp3813 Even top babyfaces need top heels to make them. I think it's YOU that has facts mixed up. Bret was NOT willing to take a lower salary, he was willing to keep his 3 million right where it was at. This is right from BRET'S OWN BOOK. Vince wanted to renegotiate and Bret refused, then refused to drop the belt to Michaels. Then again, I suppose a lot of what Bret says isn't grounded by any facts, right? Just because he was there doesn't mean anything.

  • Im really glad that bret hart and steve austin dont wreslte anymore. just like with ric flair none likes to see old people wreslt of course this is anosloutley no offense to the natre boy.

  • @ 6:57 ... nobody ran into a turnbuckle quit as well as Bret did...he made that shit look painful as hell!

  • Very true, that dude was dedicated to the show

  • The psychology here was brilliant, with Austin not being able to out wrestle Bret, which put Bret over, and then coming back with a badass move, the Stun Gun, and started working on Bret's throat and chest, which put Austin over. Brilliant.

  • ? austin did the stunner well before this match up

  • id like to see someone else do an elbow off the top that well

  • I'm just glad that Bruno Sammartino, and Bret Hart both went out while still on top. Reading Bret Hart's book is so sad. Bruno Sammartino wrote his book NEVER breaking character even once. He's right TOO many Gimmics, no more artists.

Don't outstage Triple H or your fired.

  • Vince was probably plotting Bret's professional demise prior to his return @ Survivor Series...

  • Bret was amazing in his prime though, just unbelievable from 92-97, Shawn Michaels 93-98 and stone cold 96-2001 was insanity too same with the rock from 97-2003

just great stuff, gotta love the taker, kurt angle, mick foley and diesel too

wish i got to see rock vs bret hart, tha woulda been great

triple h is really good but i'd like him more if he earned his way to the top and really wasnt handed the title so many times, watering down the belt and his career

  • was amazing? bret hart is still amazing even though he cant wrestle i love bret

  • if you want to see bret vs rock then just type it in and sure enough you will find it

  • @gocelts34n7 Bret vs the Rock do fight. Search it, it's pretty easy to find. It's a Monday Night Raw match, about 10 minutes long.

  • @gocelts34n7 wasn't there a rock vs bret Match in 1997 like in early april.....it was not in monday night raw but some og those weekday events and PRO wrestling magazine had that bret beat then the young rocky maivia aka rock......but someone correct me if am wrong?

  • @gocelts34n7 TRiple H earned his way, to say he did not is pure ignorance, he was held down more than anyone kind sir.

  • @gocelts34n7 yeah your right about triple h and the rest you said I totally agreed with you.

  • @gocelts34n7

Finally a WWF Fan who liked Diesel he and Razor Ramon were my favorite Bad Guys at the WWF

and Shawn Michaels before he created DX

I also like the early Triple H more when he called himself Hunter Hurst Helmsly

And i also like the 1990 to 1996 Undertaker more then the modern Harley drivin Undertaker

  • @gocelts34n7 Go to wikipedia and search "The Kliq"

Read the part on "Curtain Call: The MSG Incident" then talk about HHH

  • dream match we will never see=hart vs angle-both in their prime-that wouldve been awesome!!

  • AMEN!

  • Bret said that himself He wished he could have had the chance to wrestle Kurt Angle.

  • @warriorsleftnut yeh man, the two best submissionists in wwe goin at it in their prime would be amazing

  • @warriorsleftnut I agree, as well as Rock against HBK, both prime, that would've been incredible....

  • @warriorsleftnut wrong

  • @joshlin1100 erm why?

  • @warriorsleftnut I totally agreed but who would you pick between those two to win.

  • @tarnell4003 oww tough one!! i think i lean towards angle just catching bret with an inside cradle or a rool up similar to what bulldog did at summerslam 92!would be an amazing match!!

  • @warriorsleftnut yeah it would be a good match but I would pick bret because he never lost to beniot and kurt lost to him twice. I think it would be by a smallpackage move for bret to win.

  • Yeah, they do go out of their way to make Austin look better. The writing was already on the wall for Bret at this point.

  • digusting how they tried to bury bret.

  • Then how Austin would begin his rise to fame.

  • In Bret's book he stated that jr and mcmahon somewhat buried him in this match...now going back and listening to the commentary, they actually do somewhat bury him with the comments of all the training he did does not mean anything and a few other things they stated during the match...

  • vince loves to screw around.

  • If you remember, when Bret faced Shawn at WrestleMania XII, it seemed as though they took a lot of little cheap shots at Bret in that match also. Maybe that's what Vince wanted was to bury Bret on the play by play and then to screw him in the end. Or maybe not.

  • idk, whyd they have him win the title again after this then?

  • they let him win the title that last time to try toget him to stay at wwf and convince him he was a huge part of the future along with stone cold and the undertaker and shawn and eventually rocky, but when bret won it he still decided to go to the wcw and was gtonna take the belt with him, thats insane

  • its ridiculous that people still think this.He never intended to take the belt with him to WCW. He told Vince that he would drop the belt to anybody except Shawn. He mentioned both Austin and Undertaker. He only did this because Shawn refused to drop the belt to him at Wrestlemania 13.

  • @Dahue1983 i dont think they buried bret per say, i just think vince and j.r were just overcompensating to make austin seem like a legitimate threat to bret.

  • One of the greatest! matches ever!!
