  • Brian Setzer gave hope to all of us horn players who suffered through high school band class believing we would never get a chance to play professionally. I thought this would trigger a jazz band revival. It kind of did, but died. :-(

  • LOL I was just about to post some VHS shit! Thank god I can read!

  • so much personality on the MC.

  • Dear Brian.I'd like to invite you for chicken salad on little crackers.Love from Marie

  • sweet creepers

  • Everybody in the orchestra looks like they're all having really fun :)

  • 1 dislike. You must be kidding. Is the person deaf, or in a coma? WTF???

  • WoW!!!

  • great stuff, thanks!!

  • vaya bartolo el que sale hablando xD

  • Brian is probably one of the most underrated guitar players ever. I hardly ever hear his name mentioned and it's a shame. He is one of the greatest.

  • @jeff4free71

You're right Jeff , Brian is an incredible musician , top level guitarist .... he'll be part of legends someday ... ( as later as possible ...)

  • My kids asked me once what was the best time in your life, I said the 80's and this is why

  • LMAO at frijolero01's comment

  • every time I watch this guy play and try to learn his stuff, I'm reminded of how much I really suck.

  • @frijolero01

ah in comparision with Brian everything sucks so actually you might be good^^

  • bieber and the jonas have their mouths full of Brian's ass pubes from kissing his talented butt so much... long live the real music that this great band makes..

  • He must get more pussy than a toilet seat...

  • What a fabulous band. I saw this concert tour twice. Amazing that in the late 90's Swing Music still had a major audience. Love the superiority of Brian Setzer. And yes, he does play rock and roll music on that big Gretch guitar!

  • I remember Brian when he was with the Stray Cats. They were very cool. Man, this band swings.

  • @SRV4evr I got my shovel and dug that kid.

  • Setzer ROCKS. I may have bben born in the early 90's but this music is a timeless lost art form. I'm a ferm believer of reliving the 30's 40's and 50's through the music.

  • @Steamaddict1603 lol same for me, but with fashion, as well XD I must have spent too much time around my grandparents when I was little :P

  • I'm 41....i say this music is timeless. there was no happier time.

  • Grew up listening to this guy for fuck sakes! <33

  • the bass part is hot

  • swing dancing to this music is amazing. and its really easy to learn :)

  • yeah really i would be dancing my ass off even if i dont know how to swing dance which i dont would be f un

  • screw the jonas brothers one hit wonders this music is forever

  • @bonofan100 amen!

  • I miss this kind of talent unlike the crappy fake music today i cant stand it people who cant sing or dont really sing this is pure talent

  • So true. I was a fan during the Stray Cats days, but a friend took me to the BSO concert a few years ago. He is AMAZING live. If you can't get fired up at a BSO concert, you don't have a pulse.

  • @tnoutdoors9 I can honestly see that. Most of his performances on here are live and if he ever come to the U.K I'll be right there haha. The shining paragon of rockabilly and swing

  • can anyone tell what year was this?

  • I used to be jealous of Charlie Vernon. Now I'm jealous of Robby Aioki. I'd kill to play with this band.

  • wish that pompadour was still huge, but hey , hes getting old, (and so am i for that mattter)

  • LOVE this stuff, real talent ---real music, not like the shit you cant reproduce live today, all studio filtered fake music now a days

  • hey allsmufedup the fact that he is doing the song the same as it was recorded is proof that he is a musician as opposed to the jokers of todays HIP HOP and RAP artists.

  • Absolutely smoking....

  • great, Thanks!

  • Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

  • I very much enjoyed this :) I'm starting to really like Swing music, I don't really know what Rockabilly is...but I'm glad this still sounds very Swingy...I enjoyed it.

  • rockabilly is rock before the beatles like elvis, chuck berry etc. look up brian setzers other band the stray cats they were a big rockabilly band in the 80's

  • check out the old Carl Perkins stuff if u want some good old rockabilly. carl perkins originals, not the later stuff. even the beatles loved the old carl perkins music

  • when I tell my friends one of my favorite types of music is swing the say "swing? what's that?" makes me feel way older than 23

  • these vids are awesome. cool to see when he was doing the songs live the same way they were recorded.

  • I love the double-bassist.He doesn't fuck around.

  • The road to Brian ?

    Burning down the boogie ?

    ONCE IN A LIFETIME !

  • I can't watch Brian for more than a few minutes at a time. He's so damn cool that my eyes get in danger of developing frostbite from prolonged exposure.

  • What is he playing at 6:30? It kicks ass.

  • Cannonball Rag. Old Merle Travis.

  • I seriously can't wait til my 30th Bday bash.. it's all 50's Rockabilly themed.. and I am going to be playing the hell outta some Brian Sezter! haha

  • I've got another 4 and a half years to wait but I'm hoping to do the same thing!

The world needs more music like this.

  • got to be the best rockin guitar player, so cool

  • So FREAKING AWESOME! love Brian!

    LOVE ROCK-A-BILLY!

  • to cool the best rockin guitar player in the buisness

  • How could you possible NOT want to get up and dance to this kinda stuff!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

  • This guy seriously kicks some ass

  • ITS AN ORCHESTRA!!!

  • Thanks for preserving this on YouTube- one of my favorite concerts

  • ".. leading a full big band, and I mean big, yeah, it's an orchestra .." weird!

  • great show...

  • Love the performance but that had to be one of most awkward introductions ever. Did you see that half clap?

  • Nice to see some new stuff, thanks for posting.
