i applaud your altruism. i remember once there was a field mouse that had been posioned near by where i work. it ran through the smoke shelter and some of the lads there thought it was hilarious to kick it and taunt it. poor thing must of been only 6 months old and it was being tortured and booted to deaths door. they aren't many nice people left in the world, but you are definitely one of them.
