Aretha's hat was gorgeous I thought. Very reminiscent of a characteristic black woman in church. I'm sure Mahalia Jackson would've loved it. As for Aretha's performance, people do not need to be hating on an "average" performance with great style in 20 degree weather. At least Aretha didn't "pre-record" like all the fake singers in the world today. Aretha deserves her spot to sing in the Inauguration as a civil rights figure and people need to show her more r-e-s-p-e-c-t
