Im going to do a cover of this myself. Right, its real simple, i learned the guitar cover, then the bass, so it almost took no effort. But its fun to play along with the song.

Hey I think your using the guitar tabs. The bass intro starts at G7,G7,G5,G7,D7,D6,D5,A5,D3A5. I'm playing it right now.

dude it would be the same notes so it doesnt matter, maybe altered tone, but same notes

It's okay, but why move your hand around as much when the notes are in the cage? It just makes it easier to play if you stay within the scale cage. But saying that I kind of like the tone he's getting.
