  • Great video man! And a lovely song too!

  • high def for 2008

  • @richardl562 That would have to be the Columbia River Gorge in northern Oregon and southern Washington State.

  • whats your favorite highway or scenic drive?

  • 1:39

    Crop circles.

    This video is fricken great!!

  • awsome lve it 1 lil quetion wat song is that?

  • @zackery313 I've Been Everywhere by Hank Snow

  • @chrismbona absolutely, the Erie Canal locks betweenetweem Buffalo and Rochester.

  • Dude your awesome :) you came to el paso tx, altho its pretty boring here, this has been the only video that i've seen on youtube that has el paso tx in it hahaha

  • Sam Houston ftw!

  • o, ok i see you have been everywhere in navada!

  • @fnsawgun Where,d you get Nevada from? None of these pictures were taken in nevada.

  • @woodencoasterfan Ne is nebraska

  • I love this video! I'm going to post it to my website. There's a fairy truck driver in my novel Winnemucca, a young adult small-town fairy tale. So many times, truck drivers do things to help people on the road. Winnemucca, NV is The Emerald City of the novel:) Happy and safe travels to you.

  • the bird is a lie

  • @friendsdoge1 What do you mean by that?

  • @woodencoasterfan what i mean is a bird cannot be large as the road runner in the cartoon and that bird just must be a statue with feathers on it to make it look like a bird

  • @woodencoasterfan it's just a quote from a videogame, portal...

By the way, you have a beautifult job!

  • LOl Louisiana/ Flordia Blueangels i got to go see hem it was awesome!!! i live in louisiana but there at flordia the museum is pretty cool ohh and mind the human kind if hes a trucker then yes hes probably been everywhere in the united states..lol good photos....!

  • i live in las cruces and the roadrunner is right outside of cruces not in arizona

  • @polarissawtooth i live by Silver City and love that roadrunner

  • loved the video!! just bought Hank Snow's CD "The Essential Hank Snow", has this song, plus 19 others.

  • @MREVLOGS We you're right in that it's at a rest area, but it's in New Mexico at a rest area over looking Las Cruses

  • I think that big bird is in arizona in a rest area , i think i saw that bird on my way to mexico

  • Keep on truckin' :)

  • Giant Roadrunner... that would be so creepy

  • some of the things i saw where stupid!!!!??? ( my opinion)

  • Great Americana, thanks for sharing!

  • i belive woodencosterfan

  • 0:58 meep meep!

  • did he really go to those places (in the song) :) LOL

  • my dad drives a truck too. He sees some cool stuff

  • Thanks for sharing your photos and travel. Cool song, too!

  • i just wasted 2:46 of my life!!!!!!!!!

  • @stefanable

And who's fault is that? Oh... right.

  • @stefanable No, no, no, amigo. It's the other way around: You probably wasted most of your life hanging around some same areas looking at gang graffito. America is full of priceless scenes left behind from the pre-computer era...For, I've been there and I'm not an 18-wheeler like this dude.

Take a trip along I-40 in the West Coast and you'll know what I mean...The ancient Route 66!!!

  • Nicely done! I love the song by Hank, and have seen a few of the interesting things you have in your video. My 2 favorires: Texas Canyon and the BIG roadrunner near Las Cruces. Thanks for a cool video!

  • Me gusta más la versión de Johnny Cash,

  • dude you didnt go to that many places

  • @MindTheHumanKind I shure did. I shot every one of those photos myself :)

  • @woodencoasterfan this is rly cool, and a great song. seen anything interesting here in new york?

  • The opening and closing shot looks like it's from a truck pull-out area on I-8 in the far eastern edge of San Diego County just before the drop off into the desert. And at 1:05, just after the Roadrunner shot is the bridge on US-60 across Queen Creek just east of Superior, AZ at the beginning of the climb to Globe, AZ. I have two videos posted of the drive up this grade from inside my truck.

  • @espeescotty Actually, the opening &closing shots are from a rest area on I-10 in eastern Arizona in the Dragoon Mountains between Wilcox and Benson. I-8 is one of the few Interstates I have yet to drive on and San Diego as well as Boston are the only two major US cities I haven't been to.

  • @woodencoasterfan Oh, that's funny, I've been on that stretch of I-10 between Benson and Wilcox a few times, but I forgot there was a rest area up there. I actually thought it looked like the pass through the Dragoon Mtns., but since I didn't remember the rest area, I figured it was possibly the truck pull-out on I-8.

  • @woodencoasterfan As a trucker you've no doubt run some serious grades, but that 8 or 10 mile stretch of I-8 on the San Diego / Imperial County line is surely a story making grade for more than a few truckers, both up and down! It can get hairy! If you ever find youself with load for or from S.D. on I-8, keep that camera handy, as there are a few more things to add to the scrapbook along the way. On a clear day the view is awesome! Safe truckin', buddy.

  • @espeescotty I took a look at it from the Google Satelite view and it quite interesting. I can't wait to drive it, hopefully my first time will be when it's dry and daylight out.

  • @espeescotty You're correct with everything else. It's a shame more bridges aren't built like that any more. We could use more beautiful looking bridges in this country instead of all the precast uniform looking bridges that are being built now.

  • That's cool... I kept saying "I know where that is"!

  • I love the views of the road!

  • yes many things all over ontario, each town got something

  • at 0.15 ive been there many of times its the florida welcome center.

  • great pics :)

  • when i looked at the thumbnail for this video and saw the roadrunner statue, i thought it was a giraffe...hey, the thumbnails can be hard to see sometimes!

  • Thanks for posting, I drove trucks between 1986 - 1990, mainly interstate & mainly Melbourne to Adelaide, Sydney & Brisbane on our eastern coast, before retuning to drive trains, I used to drive part time as well as driving trains up till about 4 years ago, seeing your video makes me want to do the same with some of my photos & some short videos.

  • cool pics driver keep the shiny side up dirty side down

  • that big roadrunner must be running from a big wiley e.coyote.haha.keep it between the lines hand.

  • @salupaginahit You know I think I did see a scorched area not far from there. It must have been where Wiley's ACME rocket exploded while he was riding it. (haha). :)

  • @salupaginahit its at the east bound rest area on I-10 in new mexico just before you go down the hill into las cruces

  • @Chabooloco Right back at you little one.

  • hahaha, aat first look at the title i was thinking that it said"things that i see while i drive drunk" xD

  • Nice piece driver. Is this the best country or what?

Thanks to all the hard working guys and gals who keep this country rollin'

  • @rad3766 Yeah, it us absolutely beautiful. Before I became a Truck Driver I just couldn't understand how people could fall in love with the western US. But now I do :)

  • i'v been to the east coast's biggest chrome shop although it wasnt very big:(

  • Uniroyal Tire lol. I pass that every day on my way to work.

  • What? No Canada?

  • @sketchguy2006 Not yet, I haven't seen anything of note at the rest areas and truck stops I've been to so far in Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.

  • @ woodencoasterfan first from driver to another great video and about there being less trucks i have noticed that also but i dont know why

  • @cementhauler99 I chalk it up to the economy. Also the new CSA 2010 rules will take a few more drivers off the road as well.

  • Back in the days of the "little white pills" they used to see some REALLY COOL STUFF!

  • lots of florida stuff...

  • @groves1990 Only the first three photos were taken in Florida. The other 22 photos were taken in Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Washington State, Illinois, and Minnesota.

  • @groves1990 I also forgot New Mexico as well.

  • hey man you sure have seen some great things! I really like the roadrunner.

  • Just thought I'd pose this question to the rest of the trucker nation. Is it just me or are there fewer trucks on the road now than there were last winter? I've been noticing that I've been able to find parking spots at quite a few busy truck stops at 8, 9, and 10:00 at night when I'd have to get to those same truck stops before 6pm last year to find a spot.

  • @dbeezycentex Thanks for the comment. I'm glad to see that other drivers are enjoying this video.

  • good video...i drive truck too....I've got pics from almost every major city in the country but I think the coolest stuff I've seen behind the wheel......happened REAL quick...too fast to grab a camera....

  • Aint that America.....cool pics!

  • @mrzip8 Thanks for the comment. It's really amazing how diverse and beautiful America is, isn't it?

  • nice montage! :)

  • great trucking video. very impressed.

  • this is class.

  • omg y do people make boaring videos like this

  • @gemmadog2 It may be boring to you, but not everyone shares your sentiments. By the way, it's spelled boring, and not boaring.

  • @gemmadog2 if it is boring, why did you watch it?

if you don't like it just don't watch it. you don't have to make the creator feel bad just because you did like it.

by the way, learn to spell before you post stuff? :)

  • @elwlx123 fair enough

  • if i was a trucker, i would look up stuff before i go somewhere and take a few hours to myself to see cool shit on the company's dime and just claim it was shitty gas bills and getting a little lost(though if you got gps, that may not work).

  • Exceptionally boring.

  • haha nice job!:)

  • exciting job eh m8!?!?!

  • It shure is :)

  • nice truck

  • The Road Runner looks like it's located on the west mesa on I-10 just west of Las Cruces, NM. Picacho Peak is in the background.

  • nice video..speacialy the shot from

rio grande..right from I-10...i kno that place....and cool song tho

  • Nice video I have seen the tire, the mickey mouse ears and i saw some wagon ruts from a train in New Mexico

  • I think it's interesting just how many of those I've actually seen.

  • After the 1965 World's Fair festivities ended, the Giant Tire was relocated to a Uniroyal Tire sales office in Allen Park, Michigan, and has towered alongside I-94 near the Metro Airport ever since. Over the decades it has become an important symbol of Uniroyal's 117-year heritage and a cultural icon for the city of Detroit known the world over.

  • cool

  • Cool video.

The Uniroyal tire, is that the one in Michigan?

If it is that tire used to be a Ferris wheel they turned it in to the tire.

  • Nevermind I read your description and it is the tire in Michigan

  • You got it! I didn't know that it used to be a ferris wheel, makes sense though. Do you have any idea what park the ferris wheel came from?

  • I'm not really sure, I know its been there longer then Ive been alive and I'm 31.

  • Comment removed

  • It was a ferris wheel from Coney Island New york city, its hard to believe they moved it that far and turned it into a big tire. Back when Uniroyal was advertising their royal seal tires they stuck a big fake nail in the tread of the tire. After a while they removed the big fake nail and I remember it selling on Ebay for about 10 grand.

  • 1:27 & 2:17. I BEEN THERE TOO. !!!!'

Of course, you gotta think we have probably been to a lot of the same places if you drive very much.

  • These Tepee's are all over South Dakota. This looks like the one on I-90 in Chamberlain overlooking the Missouri River....

  • Keep on trucking!

  • Hey, I was just curious to know if you had any somewhat famous things from Oklahoma. There is alot of history in this state such as route 66, my hometown was Guthrie, Oklahoma and there is seriously massive amounts of things there. The worlds largest Masonic Temple is there. It takes up four whole blocks but most of it is the grass around it.

  • Well, the only thing from Oklahoma on this video is the Big Chief statue at the Big Cabin Travel Plaza in Big Cabin, OK it's in the northeastern part of the state right off the Will Rogers Turnpike. Most of the photos on this video were taken at rest areas or along side the interstate. Hopefully I'll get to drive my truck through your home town and snap a few photos as long as there's somewhere I can legally park my truck nearby.

  • I have seen Semi's parked all over the place. Actually, I have seen some parked right next to the masonic temple. The city has so much history to it as well, the first capital of Oklahoma, during the centinenial, it was voted the number one smallest town in Oklahoma.

  • The Fred G Remonds bridge at 1:22 between Yakima and Ellensburg WA. Nice, since Ellensburg is mentioned the song. Did you know that, since you credited Yakima with this location?

One of the last and one of the longest concrete spans built at a time when the USA was great. When real men drove real trucks and real women had real body parts.

When Kennedy was in Life Magazine and everything was aquamarine. Aquamarine...

  • I shure didn't. I just remembered it was taken near Yakima. Thanks for the update :)

  • That big roadrunner made out of trash is at Las Cruces New Mexcio =D ... thats where im from... o yeah its made out of trash lol

  • as they say...been there seen that. I am a driver too and have over 12,000 pictures so far. Always have my camera on the dash. It is amazing what you can see driving down the road, some good and some you wish you had not seen.

  • You got that right!

  • hey i live in danville illinois and have seen that horse drawn antique thingy before, isnt it at like a rest stop?

  • It's a horse drawn Road Grader and it's at the Illinois Welcome Center on westbound I-74.

  • Nice truck :)

  • Lol, I pass those Mickey mouse ears when I go out to Orlando from Tampa. Nice pics. Must be nice to get out these sometimes.

  • Thanks :) I live in Orlando and I can't keep my truck there so I have to drop it off at our Lakeland terminal and I use that Mouse Ears power pole as a halfway mark. That way I know I'm almost home when I pass it and that's a very welcome sight for me. It's amazing what you can see from the road side, at rest areas, truck stops, and trunpike service plazas. I'm glad you liked the video :)

  • 1:30 I have seen that before!

  • good clip my dad and mom both drive for werner and my dad takes alot of pics just like u he probly has over 2000 pics and anything

  • ive onlyy heard the johnny cash version of this song

  • This is one was sung by Hank Snow. I believe he's the original artist of the song.

  • Hey! I've taken vids and pictures while driving a truck- 18 wheeler, too.

  • love the song...hope yt don't pull it...

  • Thanks

  • Hi. I'm a european trucker, but I wanna work in the US. I'm searcing a company who works with peterbuilts or macks. Do you know such companies? Is european experiance good in the US?

  • Well, I can tell you that Werner uses Peterbilts as well as Freightliners, Kenworths, and I've been hearing that we're getting some Internationals soon. I believe Swift and JB Hunt do as well. As for your European license, you'd have to contact the Federal Department of Transportation for that as I have no idea myself.

  • Are you working for Werner?

  • Yes.

  • That bridge missing 2 legs.... wow

  • WOW that's all i can say!!!! Those are some pretty wacked out things!!! where do u drive? it looks like a maybe interesting job.

  • I drive throughout the lower 48 states as I'm a Professional Truck Driver.

  • Read the description to see where each photo was taken and what exactly it is.
