  • The Hiroshima bomb was on August 6th and Nagasaki on the 9th, but it's interesting that all kinds of secret negotiations and deals were going on before that. I doubt that the Germans had atomic bombs although they had planes ready to bomb New York. They did said the ALSOS mission to Germany to collect all the uranium they could find, though, which was later used for the bombs on Japan.
