I cleaned my carb our and now my mini moto starts but when i ride it, it doesnt pick up speed.

my bike only starts when its choked and i give it gas, once its running, i have to keep revving it or ittl die. if i turn the choke off, itll die even faster. do i need to clean my main jet? get a new carb? did i mention my exhaust is destroyed. reply to this comment and ill leave a video response showing you. plz help

@scbjgs look where your throttle cable is attached to your motor and there is a screw that pushes against it...called the idle...just a little phillips screw and not hard to miss but not the flat head screw right next to the choke. Hope this helps!

hey man.. i got a pocket bike 49cc and it has a carb like in ur video. i turned on the pocket bike for the first time then when i gave it some gas(twisted the throttl) it turned off right away. and the day after it started leaking from down there some from the hose annd some from i dont know where. but from the bottem.. i think from the plastic the is beside the choke.. please help

okay i cleened every where in the carb bowl and on the donut float thing but tons of gas drains out of the overflow tube. i have lost a ton of gas and now there is a huge mess in our garage. please help!!!

Hi there i have a 49cc daymak f2 pocket bike and its leaking from the overflow tube but iam scared to clean the carb beacuse last time i tried to it was on a atv and i still cant get the trotthle cable to sit inside it properly so when wver i start the atv its on full throthle (not very fun then) SO BACK TO THE POCKET BIKE i had it sitting in the garage for the whole winter and i get a pull start for it now and it wont start and is trippig gas constatly from the overflow tube NEXT COMMENT PLEASE

hey so you should get me those subs

ok yhe cable goes into the carb if you look down into the top of the crab you can see a little gold stub sticking out of the wall of the carb then you need to just find the little black piece on the end of the cable and it will have a slot on the side for the little gold stub to go onto and put the needle down in the hole and then screw the cap on the carb and wala if you need more help i can help i may just make a vid cuz alot of ppl ask me about this

ok i got it to stop leaking but it still wont start its getting spark and i know the gas is getting into the carb bowl but how do i found out if i am gettin gas in the cylinder and i know iam getting compresion beacuse its hard to pull and when i put my fingur ontop and push it in the spark plug hole it push it off so please help me i really need it iam so frustrated =(

ok then it might be flooded just take the spark plug off then take a match and light it and put it by the hole on the cylinder and pull the pull starter alittle like slowly and it will get all of the gas out for you and then it might be ok if that dont work just come back on here and ill try to help you

if you have taken apart your fuel inlet where you pipe connects to the carb then you should make sure you resit the O ring back in its original place otherwise you will get leaks, ans the bottom of the carb what he was talkin about is called the float chamber by the way

Hey man u are awsome but i have a problem...You know the part of the carb that connects to the engine...not the air filter the part that had the two screws that bolt on to the engine...well there is a plastic peiece or metal that connects the carb into the engine and it snaped so it will no longer attach do you know where i could buy another one..or you could give me one...and just to let you know i have the same kind of carb looks exact some idk if that helps but yeah so can you help me??!?!??!

i have a question.

when i bought my first pocket bike it would shoot out a shitload of thick white smoke from the muffler. im thinking its because i always left the choke in the same position. could that be?

hey bud uhh did you mix the gas because you need yo lub the motor i suggest taking the spark plug out then looking to see if its brown or white if its white its running lean than means you could blow it up go on youtube and type how to mix gas 30:1 and theres your answer and if its not the gas and you mixed it then the guy u bought it from blew it up and the choke is just to let more gas in and less air into the carb...

its a drain for the gas incase there is debris if u unscrew it gas will come out!!
