You should read in the description or listen in the video.. I say what tail servo it is in the video, and also write what tail servo it is in the video description
Great video! I'm new to helicopters and am having trouble with my rudder being way to sensitive. When I try to hover my copter spins in one direction so I move the trim one click in the opposite direction which causes the copter to spin in the opposite direction. Is this a sub trim issue in the radio settings or is it a physical issue like moving the rudder control rod one hole closer to the center of the servo horn on the rudder servo? If a radio issue how do I reduce the rudder sensitivity?
How many years you take to learn to fly that well? you must be sponsored or suchlike I bet eh??? LOL anyways bet you dont do that when the kids are coming back from school eh?? HaHa. Cheers from England...
Yeah no way would I trust my precious 500 to a cheap peizo gyro like that, but it's interesting to see that it works ok. I am really liking the Hyperion batteries on mine - they charge and balance in like 15-20 minutes!
I use the TP Extreme, but I didn't know it could do a 3C charge. The Hyperion battery can do a 5C charge if your charger can handle it - but I just do a 3C charge usually. For $100 for a 6S 2200, that is pretty cool.
NIce Flying. I have the same setup on my 500 ESP, I haven't flown it yet. Thank You for saving me from buying a $200 Gryo. I'm going to run Flightmax 6S3000 batteries, what do you use?
don't get me wrong this gyro holds like crap compared to a good 200.00 gyro! I only put the 401b on the heli to make this video! I use a 200.00 gyro on it when im not using this! it is still a damn good gyro for the price! I use all Thunderpower batteries!
Thanks for the reply. I'm not up to 3D yet, more in the learning stages. Did want to spend $200 for a Spartan Yet, but I should just it over with. The 500 ESP is cheaper than a clone was you add up all parts. Next build will be a 700e. .
@ divemasterphil. I think you are mistaken on the cheaper than a clone. Definetly not.
If you take into buying the clone, and the motor and the esc and blades and batteries and gyro and servos and everything to get ti going it is more expensive than a Align. although these only come with mechanics and power system. NO blades, NO Battery, NO servos, and NO Gyro
how long does the battery last ?

@helipr0 Just curious, but which (digital?) tail servo do you use? And in what orientation is your gyro?
PHeMoX 1 year ago
@PHeMoX huh,it's been a year I haven't fly with this gyro...I used jr290 on the tail and my gyro was oriented with cables parallel to the boom

yup, TP's can charge at that rate too, I can charge a 2250 at 6 amps! :) The 500 is a bash around heli so I wasnt woried about it!
