The legend! Unbelievable. And yeah, the reason why people are complaining about kid's show is, that nowadays not many adults can appreciate this art (beside jugglers) so he cant go to bigger shows...
He was big in the 80s? Yep, so was Chris De Burgh!
I have no idea what everyone is on about, yep its a kids show...And...Are you saying that childrens entertainment has to be second rate, and infact the Horrible Histories by cbbc was nominated at the British Comedy Awards! And every writer for those shows has said how much freedom they have over say an official BBC comedy series.
This show brings back old school variety, with infact some really funny british comedy personalities that star.
You know what's funny, is to watch the black n' white one from the 50/60's with old school music, then his 1984 one with a colorful set and disco music, and now this one with a more active set (lights spinning around, spotlights) with electronic music... 20 years from now our kids will be watching this 2006 version with the same eyes we watch the 50's version with, if that makes sense... Crazy to think about.
that was brilliant! that dude is such a performer that's the 1st time i seen him, i thought it was cool when he made the ball come towards him when he bounced it i haven't seen a trick like that. what a show....
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
not really. good jugglers do advanced tricks with 5, 6, or 7 balls, and can juggle some 8 ball patterns and 9 ball cascade.
this guy cannot even juggle 6, otherwise he would have shown 3 in 1 hand. and 3 in 1 hand would then probarbly be the most difficult trick in the whole show.
but he is very skilled when it comes to cigar boxes and hats. in those disciplines he might be world class.
some real juggling-videos:
watch?v=wZx4cLTDWTE mills mess in tokyo, watch?v=7unAfIKj5P0 dietz in linz
I wouldn't say so. it's about what looks good, what has flair and style...and I can guarentee you I can't do half the tricks in this routine and I run 7 rings.
kurtilein3, by saying "Some real juggling videos," etc. you've made yourself sound like a fool since he's one of the most respected jugglers in history.
To say that he's unknown to the juggling community, you must not be in it.
Just because wikipedia does or doesn't have something is no proof of how known or respected someone is.
Just for comparison, look up Francis Brunn in wikipedia. Well, theres almost nothing on the greatest juggler who ever lived. I guess he's not a real juggler either.
you are a juggler??? you know whats juggle? Please if you dont know something dont say this stupid thing. Think few hours, read, look historical videos and then repeat this shit.
well in actuality 3 ball juggling is preferred by most stage jugglers not simply becuase they cant juggling 7 balls but three balls allows you to bring your personality in to the trick and allows for the greatest level of personal expression, kriss kremo could just as easily come out and do 7 ball 360s but the crowd would soon be bored, so in actuality this is more suitable for a general audience.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
no. he is not a very good ball juggler. he is good at juggling 3 balls. maybe he can do 5. but definitively not 6, otherwise he would show 3 in 1 hand in his 3-ball performance.
he is good at juggling hats, and has some cigar box-skills. but he is NOT a world class juggler. really, if he can juggle 7, then where does he show 3 in 1 hand? he would show that, if he could, because it looks amazing and shows that you have skills.
either way you dont really have much room to talk down on kriss kremo cause he's making like $5000 a show doing this whereas i saw some little kid on the street juggling 5 balls with a hat right next to him for a little extra cash, hmmm which sounds better and besides nothing is really HARD persay if your practicing juggling like 3 hours a day, time is the most important factor.
would they still pay 5000 dollars for this guy if they would know that he is not really a good juggler?
now, with youtube and wikipedia and the internet in general, such information is so easily available that he now really will need to learn some new stuff.
maybe you just need to see a good juggler to understand what im talking about: watch?v=jARWgntJmB0 or watch?v=mfUCabPvqK8
its not a matter of the fact that a good number of these tricks are on the internet its the fact that it takes an extensive amount of hard work to get this routine down, if you watch one of his clips it says that he practices 6 hours a day to keep his routine in top for. his performance is more geared to what is exciting for the crowd to watch, there are about 200 tricks you can do with three balls so if you haven't learned all those really you have no place to be talking.
pinkprincess: i have seen jugglers that have better and more difficult 3-ball routines in reallife. so kris kremo is not a good juggler. not with 3 balls.
his 3-ball performance is geared towards impressing those people that are entirely ignorant about juggling. but if you are a juggler, you will realize that quite a lot of his stuff is incredibly basic and simple.
he is good with cigar boxes and hats. but he is not a good juggler.
Ok lets take that for granted. I cant juggle more than three balls but the elegance that he puts in his act is undeniable.
And I must disagree entirely because that elegance is a result of his sharp juggling skills - have you tried juggling three balls at the distance he does?
He never really lets the balls slip - he has an unique style that resembles that of cigar boxes, and that is what makes his act so amazing. I prefer him over people spamming seven or more clubs or twelve rings.
it it weren't for kids, there'd be no jugglers. and if kids didn't get to see amazing performers like kris, none of them would ever be motivated to become as good as he was.
Does anyone know the move at 1:53? Is he just clawing them? It looks like a windmill only forwards with claws. He is astoundingly good and the angulation he uses with the bounces is amazing.
Wow this guy is awesome performance wise. The one trick I would love to learn but that seems impossible is under the leg every time at that speed - i dont think this is possible for long.
Its great to see Kriss still juggling. As a young juggler I used to watch old black and white vhs of his routine... his 3 ball then was as clean as it is now. Ok, it may be a little slower now, but if I can still pull off continuous under leg throws like that when I hit 60 (or 50.. or 40.. or 30) then I'll be seriously chuffed!!!
Juggling for kids is Cool! and doing magic tricks for them is even better. I love telling people that there are strings on the balls and showing them the YO-YO when they ask me how it's done. The amazing thing is, some people actually believe me when they here that!

imitate kremonever. his routine is really precise and his style is really unique. this is Kris...most the videos of kris are when hes like, 30 or something-that was in the 80s-now, nearly 30 years later, he must be around 60.
