To me, JB is a faker. John Bell is from OHIO and speaks w/ a southern accent as if he grew up on a Georgia plantation all his life. I'm sorry, by 18 years old you have developed your speech habits. Love Panic ...love Phish! Why not? I like Waylon Jennings...I like Miles Davis, I like the Meters and I like Stanley Jordan. Panic started in 85...Phish in 83. Phish had no influence on Panic whatsoever. They both modeled their bands after the Dead. They both are the God Fathers of the current Jam Band scene. I graduated from high school in '89 and immediately started going to Panic shows and Phish shows shortly after...over 300 Panic shows (I'm from the south) and over 100 Phish shows. Why not?

although my favorite band is phish and ive seen them nearly 100 times i love panic shows. They fucking shred like few bands can and they keep in line with the philosophies of phish and the dead before them which is give the audience something fresh everytime you're on stage. both bands rock. end of story
