I think it is unfair to call educated men that can't describe the difference between the solar system, galaxy, and the universe stupid or ignorant because of the fact that people are interested in earning a living or focusing on a particular field of study. Unless one chooses Astronomy or space science as a profession most people won't know the vocabulary of astronomy and cosmology
