awesome!! how did you do the background and all the things that look so much better than just drawing with brush? cuz to me it seems like all i can do with flash is draw with brush and paint bucket, and then the result looks like shit, cuz i cant draw pretty backgrounds or etc cuz you can see every fat stroke i made...hope u understand what i m trying to say XD please give me advice!!!

Dude this is pretty awesome. You should keep up this good work and make your own anime series. The animation reminds me of the same quality as Wario ware Smooth moves, but this is slightly better. How long did it take you to do this clip?

Awesome animation and combat! I'd like to know how you worked on the backgrounds.

I mean the backgrounds have that naruto feel. Did you use any backgrounds from Naruto for your work? Just curious.

for the backgrounds I used many anime series as reference, but they were based the most in the full metal panic fumofu series, I choose some shots from those series, analyzed them really carefully, tree by tree, bush by bush so I could get that water paintings like style, then I made my own backgrounds, I used Naruto as a reference for the dust that comes up when the blue clothed guy lands on the ground, but my dust animation wasn't as detailed as naruto one for time budget reasons :)

I think you have to edit the animation with after effects or vegas, add some fog/color correction, make it look like these movies "Naruto, Dragon bol-z(I Really don't watch them...) and it will be more fun to watch.

I also got questions, how do you draw these posses? and what frame rate is it?

@Budhabe the first(scrolling trees) background was painted and then aplied a motion blur effect in photoshop. a imported the image as a bitmap into flash an the just made a motion tweening, other blur effecs where made directly in flash using the blur effect over a movie clip(e.g. the closeup to the ninja with the kunai in front of him). :)

@kid123ro I imported prerecorded fight videos in to flash time line so I could draw over every frame and get a better flow on the moves, I used some short videos of me for the first shots and an avatar(the last air bender) scene in some of the fighting moves

Hola, la verdad no consco anime studio pro, con flash se pueden hacer muchisimas cosas pero si quieres hacer un anime en serio creo que hay otros programas que tienen mas herramientas para eso jeje pero la verdad no se cuales son, yo te recomiendo de todas maneras que pruebes varios y pues el que tenga las herrramietnas que necesitas seria el mejor :)

Definitely not his first Flash animation, or at least not his first time using an animation program.

I didnt believe he made this at first, but after seeing that he said he made it over 8 months 5 days a week, and that he used video to trace it, I must say its a VERY impressive animation.

Im guessing that "basic flash animation course", basic is meaning the course only consisted of flash? Not that the course was simple?

First of all Thanks again for all of your comments, and I apologize for not answer all of your questions lately; I've been a "little" busy with my job but now here are some answers.

-This was not my very first animation. I did some other animated objetcs for a web site(that was my very first), the I atended an in introductory Flash course(it lasted 3 saturdays about 6 hours each one) an as final project I did this "Kenka" video, I spent about 1 month, 8 hours every day, and 5 days every week.

- Yes this I used as a base the fight of azula and his brother. In a beginning I wanted to made my own coreography recording my brother and me but I ran out of time, so I selected a short and simple but good quality fight to use.

-I painted the backgrounds in Photoshop, and all the other things were made using flash 8.

I really want to make a video showing the making of "kenka" to share my little knowledge but, I've been busy hehe.

Hola asi es :) es esa misma fraccion de esa escena ya lo habia descrito en otro comentario cuando describia como lo hice :) iva a hacer mi propia coreografia pero no me alcanzo de tiempo y si te vas abazar en algo que sea en lo mejor y pues Avatar tiene algunas animaciones de muy alta calidad. Ese es un consejo que yo daria toma de referencia consas de alta calidad y apaegate a ellas asi se aprende mucho ;)
