Good video, I'm an Army 1SG and whenever I've deployed (5 times), my wife always includes my Soldiers girlfriends in everything. She calls them and gives them updates and invites them over to put things together for their guy and all of the other guys. She was a military girlfriend on my first deployment when I was still a Sergeant and she was left out of everything so she now makes sure to care for the girlfriends and feels that they're as important as any of the wives. I agree with her.
i am a navy girlfriend, best friend, and my significant other is on deployment (has been gone almost 3 full moths) and ive been told b4 he was going to come back in may, thn june thn, july, now ive been recently informed 4 days ago he will b returning until end of august (bc of a possible israel vs iranian war) and i bursted in tears, but i dont give a damn how long it will take until he returns,i will wait for my best friend btw great video
My boyfriend joined the AF..he just went to his MEPS this past weekend.. I'm honestly terrified.. I'm proud of him, but I'm scared. I don't know what I'm going to do without my bestfriend.. I'll have no one to talk to, or see.. I'm really scared, and he hasn't even left yet. I'm not going to leave him, for anyone or anything, EVER <3 I'm just scared something will happen between us..and 4 years is so long.. it's like going through high school again.. I'll wait for him, no mater how long it takes

I met the most amazing man and hes leaving for Basic in 30 days. I'm scared out of my mind. I read up on it and I could have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for that first letter! And once he's done with Basic and everything else who knows if he will get deployed at the base here! You gave me so much hope. And it makes me feel so much better knowing I'm not alone. It's going to be hard I see that. And I got 30 days to get ready for it all. Wish me luck :)

So it really means a lot when girl friends are so supportive of their military men. Everyday in Boot I was thinking of her, she never wrote me, and never made contact while I was gone. Stay faithful!

I too am a military girlfriend. He leaves in 30 days for basic training and AIT then who knows what afterwards. I know what I'm getting myself into, how hard it's going to be, my mother tells me we won't make it, that the distance will tear us apart. But I know better. We are stronger than she knows. I haven't spoken to him since November 2011, and with all the reports of PMC casualties, I have been sick with worry, because I, too, am "just a girlfriend". We met and fell in love online, since he has been over there. Thank you again, for this. People call me crazy, but they will never understand.
I loved this people do not understand it is like we don't exist to the powers that matter as girlfriends when really we are those that get the guys through the deployments. Be strong girl there are many like you out there and we feel for you and are praying for you, and your boy to get home!

This made me cry, of joy and sadness because my boyfriend of 3 and a half years is in the USN and is in boot camp in chicago, IL & I'm here in California 2,000 miles away, and I miss him so much, I miss his kisses, his touch, his laugh, his grin, his smile, him poking my tummy him kissing my forehead, him texting me every morning and night late night phone calls, I hold my phone in my hand all day long, just in case i get a 5 min talk with him, I check the mail EVERYDAY for his letters...<3

This video was absolutely amazing. I am also a military girlfriend. Knowing the person who you love, your future, is going to be away from you for months and months at a time brings so much pain. But that makes it all the more worth it when you see or hear them.

As a truck driver I understand what it is like to be away from your family, friends, and loved ones. I pray every day to keep those that I hold dear safe. This was a really touching video. I just got back to Germany from Afghanistan and it made me wish that my x could have found as much strength as you. When your soldier comes home race up and hug him for all of us soldiers who didn't have anyone there for us at the welcome home ceremony.

That seriously touched me, I'm a marine's girlfriend and I could honestly say I can relate to every thing you wrote and it makes me happy to feel like I'm not the only one. We have been together for a little over a year now and he's in MCT and every Sunday I get a 6 minute call and it means everything to me. I love him so much, thank you for that video :)

My boyfriend just left a few days ago I've never cried so hard in my life, and I cried when I saw this, I absolutely love the video its very cute and so true. My heart stops when I see that troops have died or that another bomb injured some one. I won't be informed if something happens to him right away, I'll have to wait to hear from his family. I miss him so much, thank you for this video!!

I love this so much, when i saw this for the first time i cried it so cute. My boyfriend is in the marines and he is getting deployed this spring and i am so scared and i feel alone sometimes. But its nice to know that there are other girls going through the same thing and that they are doing just fine. thanks for this video :)

I am also a Military Girlfriend, You did a wonderful job of saying exactly how I feel. Our soldiers miss us as much as we miss them. As a truck driver I understand what it is like to be away from your family, friends, and loved ones. I pray every day to keep those that I hold dear safe. But I also pray that the lord keeps and even closer watch on those that protect the freedoms that so many of us take for granted. This was a really touching video. I just got back to Germany from Afghanistan and it made me wish that my x could have found as much strength as you. When your soldier comes home race up and hug him for all of us soldiers who didn't have anyone there for us at the welcome home ceremony.

@Erebdai I'm sorry to hear that your ex couldn't find that strength but please believe that you'll find someone who will gain that strength because she'll know that you are more than worth it. I will be sure to give my sailor an extra big hug and an extra long kiss. Happy Holidays dear.

i can se you really do care about your soldier. the smile on this womans face is genuine each time. im a marine and i wish every woman felt this way about her soldier. unfortunately some come home to a lock which their key does not fit anymore, a different truck in the driveway, or niether, to find a different family living in the house they used to live in, im glad you made this video. gives me a little more hope for our men over there. semper fi. may your soldier come home safe.

I am a Marine wife, but I remember my days as a girlfriend. Deployment is hard no matter WHO you are. Your commitment speaks loudly through this video. That boy better marry you! ;0) I'm so happy you have a return date! Be prepared for it to change a few times before the big day. Homecoming is THE single best feeling in the world. Period.

this video describes exactly how i feel. my boyfriend was just deployed for another tour in afganistan to a classified location i wasnt even able to know the date he was to be deployed. this is our first christmas together yet we are so far apart.:'( i miss him so much and cant wait to see him when he gets home. till then ill be by my mailbox awaiting his letter. to all those in the same situation you are not alone. stay strong! :)

As a Vietnam Vet, I can't tell you how much knowing there is a special someone back home who cares so much. My girlfriend then began as a penpal in my 2nd tour. We met when I came home and married. But, her letters carried me more than I could ever explain. You girlfriends matter the most to who it really matters to, your Troop. Hang in there and I pray that each of your guys are home soon and safe.

my bf just went into the training for the army. he is in the infantry part of the army. I miss him a lot. he is stationed at ft. lewis. i love this video because i am a army/ military gf who is at the bottom of the chain as well.

this actually made me cry. im new to the military deployment relationship. my soldier has been my best friend for 5 years now and we have always had a special connection. we have always loved each other and everyone of our family and friends knew we would be together one day, it just took us to realize it. i miss him like crazy hes been in afghanistan once already and is now in germany he comes home in 78 days but he only stays for 15 days. this def helped me stay strong thank you<3
