    Is it only for iphone or can it also work for making ipad games?

  • @Eradwen Yes you can! The code for iPhone games is basically identical to that of iPad games. iPad games just need to have larger textures that make use of Retina Display in Cocos2d.

  • Wow I have to say very good use of marketing by putting up videos for what your book covers. After seeing these material topics, I went to amazon to check it out, and I just made placed my order after seeing the book's ratings. I'm currently not developing with iOS SDK right now, but the topics and concepts of AI, box2D, and other things greatly interested me.

  • @ginzalzman The book mainly goes over 2D game development. The 3D cube recipe is merely a simple introduction to OpenGL 3D shapes. I included it mainly for the sake of breadth. Unfortunately more complex 3D shapes were beyond the scope of the book.
