  • blue light is the high-beam.

  • Skills.

  • Nice vid! What is the blue light in the top right?

  • @cb750boldor

    I wondered the same thing.

  • good roads you have over there, the sound quality of the video is good too, VFRs are awesome, i have a '99

  • what kind of camera mount are you using? I bought that left over 2007 that I talked about under name (pilot9r). I want to get a good mount, and would like to get this exact dash view you have.

  • Thank you for NOT adding a soundtrack!! Congrats on the bike and good luck with her!!!

  • I might be picking up a left over , 0 miles, 2007 25th anniversary color for 7600 this week. I just sold a high mileage zx9r....hope I am not let down with the loss of power...but its more practical, comfortable, and reliable.

  • 03 VFR owner here. I agree with csmorris903 about enjoying a video without an audio track laid over it and spoiling the real sound of the motor.

Everyone can improve on technique. Those who "know everything" have a lot to learn.

Considering you have a sack golf clubs on the bike I would say it looks like a fine cruise with some spirited burst here. I can tell you had fun making this video and, just as me, could care less what others say! - engraym

  • amen

  • For godsakes man, LEARN HOW TO DOWNSHIFT! You NEED to learn how to use the front brake and blip the throttle at the same time. Keep your rpms up and downshift smoooooothly.

I know you're letting off the throttle when you use the front brake.

    Cut that crap out.

  • @zippyfred are you a retard? you never apply your brakes while applying throttle. you don't do that in a car or bike. trail brake maybe if you're riding that hard, but you're doing nothing but wearing out your front brake faster if you apply gas and brake at same time. don't tell people what to do if you haven't a clue.

  • Cruising at 100mph happily at 6k rpm NICE

  • Nice bike, nice road, nice vid.. I'd love to ride on a such road some day when i ride good :)

  • I have a 2005 VFR800 and it's great to see a video with just the sound of the motorcycle. No music. Just the sweet sound of the V4 VTEC. Good job!

As for some of the preivous posts, sure your technique could use some work, but so could most riders. Even those who are sure they know everything about riding.

    Am I wrong?

  • I agree swfcpilot, I don't want to hear some stupid ass song, I want to hear the engine!

Anyway, this is a very nice video and the VTEC is hitting hard on that bike! :-D

  • in one word; super...

    i'm jealous of these roads...

the length of this road is as long as my complete country, the netherlands!!!!

  • Excellent. VFR V-tec is..Class. Staintune exhaust system on mine..sounds awesome.thanx for the video

  • I got one too, best bike I've had sofar. (I tried the blackbird, cbr 600, pan-european, slr 650, gsx 750, gs 1150)

  • I don't like the '02 and '06 model (VTEC suxx IMAO). The '98-'01, specially the '00-'01 series are really great. Well a bit overweighted, but still ok.

  • Nice vid. Thanks for no goofy soundtrack ruining that awesome VFR music! I have a white 2006 and listening is ALMOST as good as riding! Nice job dealing with some less than ideal road surfaces around those corners.

  • Nice vid, some interesting use of gears, and positioning though... leave it at that... although for those who don't ride its not as easy as ya think getting everything right... maybe some trackday experience would give this rider a tweak in the positioning and thottle use... its nearly there just needs polishing a bit... nice camera view though.

  • Good video. Very little wind noise, great capture of engine sounds and excellent view of road as well as gauges. Looks like you have some nice, twisty roads to play around on in your area! Try to be a little smoother with your inputs (throttle application, steering inputs). Ride safe. Thanks for sharing this vid...enjoyed it.

  • I would like to say not everyone can ride like rossi or Casey Stoner and even if you think your good there are ALWAYS someone better than you me included, the main thing is to go out there and do it as you belong to an exclusive clue of motorcycle riders which looks out for thier own and nod when passing. The only one who knows what's it like on a bike is the dog sticking his head out of the window.

  • This guy should not be allowed out on the road. Accident waiting to happen.

  • Is this highway O in Missouri, where in MO?

  • Whats this, some type of fairground ride? It scares me!

  • Oh dear, please tell me this was your first day riding? Gearchange at 3:25 as an example... Maybe try a scooter with an auto gearbox?

By the way- blipping the throttle on the upchange (4:21).....high-larious

  • lay off dick. some people make mistakes and others just don't have some things down. Granted blipping and gear change can be botched by a miscalculation inforce to the shifter somewhat often. in this case, holding down the clutch and looking for the right spot is probably what he did.

  • Great looking ride !! The vtec is a blast to ride .... I got mine this year and put 3000 miles on it in two months !

  • Very nice video! I like seeing the gauges while you ride - gives a feeling that I am on the bike for the ride (ok well not quite.. but close).

I currently have a ninja 250 and am considering the VFR as my next bike. I want a good compromise between sport riding and distance riding.

  • do you have a greak drivers licens

  • You're not able to drive a motorcycle...

  • Oh yeah and my grilfriend wounders why im always on the road theres nothing like it for your adrealine fix.

Is it stock pipes as i got staintunes on mine with the baffles removed and man do they know your comming great video jeffaren and sound.

  • nice ride man!and the bike's sound..music to my ears!!!

  • Cruising 95 a lot of the way. I would be worrying about massive legal problems, yikes!

  • i rode that on my cruiser (pushing the limits on that bike too), i was thinking about goin VFR. Were those speeds more of a "cruise" for it?

  • Great sound, what pipes? Road's brokenup, you're a hero! Ride Italy sometime, even if it's a rental, Tuscany is awesome. In video: work on yr positioning-use lane width more. Apex right handers. Enter left handrs way further out, move to right edge to see further thru, then apex to Center Line as curve opens -- sat on center line you gonna collect oncoming cars, you re-adjusted your l/hand line couple times for this reason. Love it tho. Have to vid my ride for learning. Good one Jeff! Ciao

  • Stock pipes, most of the sound is from the air box. It looks like I'm left since the camera is looking right to left a bit, camera is on the right side of the bike since the mount for the GPS is on the left.

  • Ah...when she gets on the pipe, that four sounds sweeter than the angels in heaven. Thanks for sharing.

  • Nice,

I see you have managed to evade the you-tube video-pixellator (could you tell us your secret of success?) great quality video!

Straight through pipes sound nicer on the VFR though! :D

  • Don't know if it was the "trick" or not but saved it as 320*240 15fps so they would not down sample as much.

  • Thanks for sharing. Damn...wish my '98 had the digital speedometer!

  • thanks for sharing

  • people that talk so much junk have never ridden anything with a motor and 2 wheels

  • You're a pretty bad rider. You should use both lanes and really pick up the speed.

  • I have an 03 w/4800 miles. I love this bike, Honda really helped by labeling it a sport touring bike too, your getting a real true sportbike, but only pay like $450 a year for full coverage. The only feasable sport machine for someone under 25 years old. Plus it gets about 50mpg if you keep it under V-Tec. Makes me wonder why anyone buys those little homo scooter things.

  • this is really a better thing to insure than say a gixxer 600 or 750?

  • Great vid, I have the same bike, the perfect bike that does everything you could ever want. One question.. how come you have ur full beam on throughout the ride?

  • To be seen.

  • I'm not sure if it's just in the Midwest US, but the motorcycle safety course I took teaches bikers to keep the full beam on during the day to be more visible to others on the road.

  • Thank you for not putting some sort of gadawful music on the video! It's nice to watch a motorcycle video where you can actually HEAR THE MOTORCYCLE! (Novel concept, huh?)

BTW, do you always slam a bike into corners, or just on this video? :^)

  • I agree, music usually ruins all these vids.

  • I'm liking the VTEC on this bike. Looks like it kicks in around 6800?

  • You do have to learn how to take corners though...

  • I just figured it out... your '05 sounds different than my '97 because of the cams... the pre-'02s had gear-driven cams which produce a distinctive whine.

Where were you riding? I wish the roads were that empty here in Maryland.

  • This is Missouri "O" into Fulton, MO. Out in the farmland.

  • What's your exhaust setup? It sounds a little too "throaty" to be stock. My 750 doesn't sound like that... I kinda wish it did!

  • Its stock, what you hear is from the air box, also stock. The VTEC does sound great. Camera is a canon A620.

  • A melhor moto do mundo, igual á minha

  • Sweet VFR riding. Nice road too.

  • Nice, got to keep the VTEC cranking tho....

  • nice vfr, i envy you. what year is it?

  • '05, about 10k miles on it in 11 months.

  • i've got a rebel i bought in april of this year and i've got almost 7k on it :)

  • Ah, and if it bothers you, you have 8:10 written instead of 7:10. No biggy, but thought you might wanna look at it. Love the Veefer though!

  • the one at 7:10 is a dead critter, but it doesn't show up after youtube's down sample either. :)

  • Just rode one of these for the first time today in Malibu, CA. Great sound. The new Retro 25th anniversary colors are amazing!
