  • Please come set my system up? lol

  • You think 2 12 in Pioneer Shallows could fit under the backseat of a 05 Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab? btw Im trying to run an all Pioneer system!

  • I HAVE FIVE OF THESE SUBWOOFER IN MY ROOM HOOK UP TO A 5000W PA AMP

  • @bigtyme52 pshht yeah sound quality all the way, and you can run and tell that... home boy

  • these subs kick ass i have 5 and i want more but they are off the shelves now >:(

  • I like this set up, looks like they hit pretty good im curious where you got the single boxes for them like that its prettty cool are they ported?

  • @steffanan Just cause it is a shallow does not mean its bad... i got a 1500 watt amp hooked up to mine

  • i have the same system ive been pulled over numerous times for my bass...guess i shoundt have played my music next to a cop car and shake the shit outta it

  • @steffanan haha yea i have only 1 8 inch ant 1 12 in and i have them pluged into a suround sound system and it does not give it the power it needs but ur spkrs cool better than mine i have amp but no inputs i need to fix it somehow

  • What kind of truck is this because i just got a 94 s10 thinking about putting a setup just like yours, so would you recommend the subs and how does the quality sound? thanks.

  • What kind of truck is this because i just got a 94 s10 thinking about putting a setup just like yours, so would you recommend the subs and how does the quality sound? thanks.

  • @jeboproductions Ya two shallow twelves might be the way to go but i would recommend trying to fit two regular tens instead.the pioneers are the loudest shallows out there but they lack the clean good sound of say the memphis shallow twelves

  • @steffanan kicker cvt 12's are good too

  • just saying walk it out isnt by lil wayne lol its dj unk lol

  • dam fool lil wayne didnt make walk it out

  • daaayum!!

  • lol that song is by DJ Unk not Lil Wayne

  • oh yea just out of curiosity, is the sound system worth more than the car?

  • @caka23 when i had that stereo no, but check mine out now! now my stereo is about $4,000

  • dude, do those subs really sound that bad or is just your camera? If thats what they sound like then i aint gonna think bout buying those ones

  • what amp is that? i think i have the exact same setup

  • @DCxUnLiMiTeD its a memphis 500 watt one. class d. so that would be awesome, the only thing is that that was my first system, i have gone through two since then

  • the song isn't by lil wayne

  • hey how would two tens compare of these shallow mounts compare to one normal ten sub

  • better then a normal 10. pioneer premier 10 inch preforms like a normal 10 inch sub, its just shallow. a few years ago, shallow meant bad shit, but today it means same performance but small space for those who cant sacrifice for a big box.

  • do these subs rattle or is it just the cam

  • just the cam,my friend has two of them, they dont raddle, and they pick up the lows real good

  • im planing on getting 2 of these for my truck along with 4 pioneer 6.5inch speakers and a 500 or 600 watt amp

  • It aint lil wayne lol

  • lol, the backside of yours seats is junk ;) but the subs are really sweet :D

even with such a lack of space

    there's place for heavy bass

  • haha thanks...i think? hey this is my oldest video, since then i have had two siiiick systems wanna check them out? first i did 4 memphis shallow tens, and i currently have two elemental monster 13s

  • 0:18 pencil go walkies...

  • was this ur first system ? now you have the 13av.2s ??

if so i bet ur way more happy haha

  • yeah what an upgrade!

  • Did you make those sub woofer boxes, or buy em?

  • i bought them. they happened to fit perfectly

  • Would have been better off to use four Tang Band 8's in a ported box.

  • yeah but i had to buy from my local dealer who doesnt distribute tang band stuff. but, if you want to see what i did after that, check my profile out. instead of 4 8's, i did four shallow tens! check it out and let me know what you think

  • ja ja ja ja lil wayne?!?! xD

  • i never seen thoses hit that hard

  • haha thanks

  • I responded to your comment on my vid...

  • Shallow mount subs are junk... Ive owned these, and a few others...

  • There not junk you just have to know how to run a system the right way.

I have 2 of the 1400 watt pioneers with a 2400 orion amp they they can pound you just have to be schooled in car audio.

  • What makes you think you have more car audio knowledge than me? You dont know me at all. i was stating my opinion for people to realize that shallow mount is not the way to go... the JL shallow mount subs are a dif story

  • hey, you can really do much with trucks, you have to get a shallow mount if you have a single cab truck, nothing els will fit. i have a single cab truck and my shallow rockford p3's sound great.

  • I corrected myself in the description just look a little

  • hee you got the good thin boxes subs sound best in those. i got a new box that was smaller it wont fukn fit the way i wanted. have to get another i guess.

  • yea i want them 2 be loud as hell im gonna get 3 or 4 12s depends what i can fit

  • nice, whats the peak power on them? would u recommend them for a truck

  • i dont exactyly remember the peak power, but the rms is 350, and the peak has to be on the website. yeah these subs are great for a truck, they are actually basically designed for trucks and they are louder than most other shallow subs that i have ever heard. I will point out though, that if you are a person going for ONLY sound quality, or if you are only getting one sub or something, i would recomend getting a memphis shallow sub. they arent quite as loud, but they sound way better.

  • You can try using polly fill the make up for the lost air space. I hope this helps....

  • bro you should get a new camera cause it is like massively distortin. nice set up:)

  • lol i would, but thats a high definition thousand dollar sony camera, and i cant exactly just change lol thanks though

  • My subs are cheap? Ha, yours sounds like the voice coils are GONE completely. Regardless I do like the sound quality, even though it's in a truck it's still good, besides the horrible flapping of the subs.

  • horrible flapping? they are in small boxes that arent ported, AND the box doesent even have as much air space as the subs recomend. and now your completely flipping what you say. a while ago you hated pioneer and said mine sounded bad. just because the camera distorts. and plus i dont have this setup anymore. i am not even joking i got a new set up yesterday. sounds like a lie, but vid comeing soon. four memphis shallow tens. was hard, but i fit them in there.

  • Comment removed

  • hey man sounds great n all but you should think of installing a grill over the woofers to protect the rubber seal.(your seat is real close to them)

  • oh yeah that occured to me, but now i actually have four tens...i will be out with a vid soon of how the heck i fit them in here lol thanks seeya

  • Hey boardingnollie. My seats will most likely be very close to my new mids that I'm going to install soon. How much do these grills cost? Where can I find them?

  • i would suggest going to the website of the brand of subs you got. they need to fit, like the holes need to lign up. and did you say mids? if they arent subs, theres not much to worry about, because mids dont have excursion, like subs, and the speaker wont move far enough out to do any damage.

  • does shallow mount subwoofers have lot of bass?

  • yeah it kinda depends what you do with them, but in the right box and right placement they can be louder than some standard profile subs. u shopping or something?

  • that song is by DJ unk. not Lil Wayne. nice subs anyway

  • I have a 02 frontier crew cab, i want them behind my back seat. what kind of set up would you recommend? how much power in the amp? what would sound better 1 long thin custom box or two single boxes and the amp in the middle of the boxes or my amp underneath one of my front seats? ported or unported?

  • Do you already have a deck? (the stereo) If you dont, i would reccomend one of the pioneer ones, they sound great, and have a lot of settings to make better sound, and id say that 500 watts of true amp power would be perfect. Also do you have any front mid range speakers? besides stock? let me know. ok with ported boxes, you will get lower bass, but will lack the tight bass that makes half of the songs out there sound really good, and with two single ported boxes like I have,...continued on next

  • with two single ported boxes, you wont get the deep deep lows that you might want. I would say, that the perfect medium would be one ported long box for both of them. they would have enough air space to hit low, but not flop around like some other ones( like on the video- shallow subwoofers pioneer 1400w) type that in. it looks cool, but doesnt sound as good. as far as where to put the amp...well you can either mount it on the box, or put it under the seat. mounting it does look good though.

  • Hey Steffanan. When you say ported box, do you mean the boxes that are like the two boxes in your vehicle (The ones in the vid)? I just purchased two 12" flat pioneer subs, a new pioneer deck, and two pioneer mids for my doors. I also need to know what kind of box would do best for my new subs.

  • well, actually a ported box, is when there is no hole in the box. the hole in the box, allows some room for the air inside the box, to go in and out. and in a ported box, the subs work with how much air is in the sealed box. sealed= ported. what type of vehicle do you have? the main thing to think about when buying a box, is how much air space the subs require to work. too much air space: they flap around and blow. not enough air space: bad sound quality. what vehicle are you putting them in?

  • I drive a little ford ranger. It hits though.

  • so are yours the premier or just the regular pioneer? do you recommend a bigger amp then the 500 if i were to get the same subs? are you running just stereo, amp and subs? or capacitor and all that other stuff?

  • mine are the regular pioneer ones. It would depend what size of box u get, but really, any amp that rates 500 true watts, can get way more than 500, because the true watts, is only what its rms is. I would recommend 500 watts because any more than that, you cant turn your music up past 20 out of 60 on your deck. I currently have just a pioneer deck, amp and subs, but I have been looking into getting a batt cap. These subs tend to draw some battery power. a cap isnt neccesary though.

  • hey steffanan what kind of amp are you using to power those 2 pioneers. Do you think the fosgate p3's are less power then your pioneers? I was looking to get the rockford fosgate to put behind my back seat in my frontier, i hate the fact that my box always moves aroung when i go offroading. i want the shallow subs behind my backseat but i want a good not so expensive set. what do you recommend?

  • well, the thing is, the pioneer 12's that I have take 350 rms, and the rockford p3s. take 400 rms. rockford fosgate rates their stuff higher, so basically, depending on the box and power, both subs rate about the same. But, I would personally recommend the pioneers, because 1. your getting pioneer, which sounds amazing as far as quality of the subs, and 2.most forums and reviews that compare these subs, usually in the end state that the pioneers are better. I have a memphis 500 watt amp

  • and i know that 500 watts is kindof low for powering subs that take 700 rms together, but The amp only takes that much rms, and can handle the subs really well. also, i dong worry aboutt blowing them as much as other people have to. The price for a rockford p3s is 250, and the price for a pioneer shallow 12 is 200. it really depends on where u buy them, but thats what their websites said. and you were saying a not so expensive set, well personally i think you should save up and do it right.

  • but theres my opinion on it all, but its your choice in the end. I spent a lot of time doing research on all shallow subs, so if you have any more questions about them, i would be happy to help. anything for a fellow bass lover! and my final word: i think you should go pioneer in the long run. (and have you seen how much better they look than the rockfords? alright talk to u later if u have any more questions.

  • it was only yesterday that i got my ts-sw301 pioneer shallow mount and i must say, "DAMN!" even without a box(free air) it is louder and clearer sounding that my old 10 inch kicker cvt in tuned unported box.

  • yeah not only these pioneers, but all pioneers are really great. They sound very good, and dont cost an arm and a leg. Im glad your happy with your selection, its obvious that pioneer shallows are getting more and more popular by the growing ammounts of videos on them.

  • damn looks like i found the shallow subs to get now

  • yeah these pioneers are really nice, plus they take way more rms than most other shallows. Also, they sound very very clean. very good quality subs. But just to let you know, if you wanted maybee a little less power for a little cheaper, something i was wondering about is the rockford fosgate p3s. take a look at them, But what kind of vehicle do you have?

  • i have a dodge ram 2004 quad cam, i have 12 inch kicker cvr but they hit the box and sound nasty i was looking at the p3s shallow mount and they are pretty good and with 109 free shipping aint that bad

  • yeah i havent actually ever dealt with kicker, but i have heard that if you give them enough power(which takes a lot) they can sound ok, but sound quality on a pioneer, just blows kicker away. And if you get pioneer shallows...3 inch moundint depth! how can you go wrong with that, you can pretty much put it in anywhere. And sound quality i mean you can listen to like...classical music, and it sound good...these subs are CLEAN!

  • yea i hear i loved my kickers had them hooked up with 1800wat power acoustik amp and they beast but now im debating on these or the p3s shallow...ahhhhhhh

  • yeah, but just know that with shallows, you will be losing some poundage, i mean...dont get me wrong they are very loud, but they just cant hit as hard as some non-low profile subs. Also, LIke i have mentioned time and time again, they sound amazing!lol If i were you, i would save up, and do it right with pioneer, instead of going a bit cheaper, with a bit less sound.

  • wow man im really surprised dumbasses that think they know everything havent commented this video saying wow those subs are blown to shit

most idiots dont realize that there are very few, if any, microphones that can pick up clear, deep bass

    anyways nice subs man

  • yeah i know what you mean that usually happens, And it sucks, we get this hd really nice sony camcorder, and it sounds like that with bass.. lol well anyways thanks for the comment.

  • NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hahah that walk it out song is by dj unk, not lil wayne.

  • Sorry about that, You know..I didnt know who it was by so I went on youtube and searched walk it out, and the only thing i saw was lil' wayne, and being a person who doesent know much about rap, assumed thats who it was by.

  • ah ok, gotcha.

  • good subs man.
