"It is a fortuitous situation indeed that God really does exist-lest the poor Atheist would not have a purpose in life at all"PPSimmons, lol. Psalm 14-1. To the atheist this life is as good as it gets, that's not saying much. John 3:16 a freewill choice to accept God's perfect Love and forgiveness. A relationship with the creator God himself.
How do you know the wind is blowing? How do you know the sun is shining while it's cloudy, cold and snowing? There is evidence all around, some as simple as a sunset or rainbow and some in the form of cynics who work hard to disprove Christianity and bring complexity to somethng simple. We accept, in faith, that God loves us, Jesus died for us and heaven awaits us in the next life if we believe. Christians don't need to prove God exists. Has any atheist or agnostic ever proven He doesn't?
@jdsings4U You simply cannot disprove something that doesn't exist. Something would have to exist to prove that it doesn't, therefore it becomes a fallacy to use that arguement. We know the wind is blowing because it can be measured, we know the sun is shining because it can be observed. We don't know anything about God and if there is one. Therefore we cannot believe in such.
@DeadButBreathing God cannot be measured because he is infinite. His Spirit, however, can be observed, felt and measured in the lives He has changed. How do you account for the transformation of a cold blooded, merciless Harlem gangster to a man so passionate for God that he dedicated his life to telling others about Him? Faith, my friend is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. You will meet God someday, in this life or the next.
Still, how does one address the idea of something supernatural without immediately considering it to be equivalent to any other superstitious myth?
Spirits? Ghosts? Souls? Demons?
What century is this?
How does simply having conviction of belief validate the belief itself? Is this why the superstitious have to isolate their ideas through censorship of criticism when it becomes evident they haven't any evidence?
Surely this level of gullibility hampers the ability to sort fact from fiction.
I pray that who see this has spiritual ears to hear and that the Lord is HOLY. The Word say "Be Holy as I am Holy" This video states this. Good work! NEVER COMPOMISE!!! Thanks for the e-mail. I will be praying for Minisrty.
