There were a few different strains throught out the Canary Island crossed with different breeds rhodesian ridgeback,dogue de bordeaux,neapolitan mastiff,american bulldog pitbull terrier ,fila brasiero but not a few and many more used to enhance the breeds strength and prey drive the colouring could also be a result of red bullmastiff.

I just saved a live from the pound they say shes 8 months pretty big atm, she is great with my family cats, ferret, and chihuahua but today the pool guy came and I tried to introduce and she was not having it only 2 days for caring for her she stood infront of me protecting.

Anyways any pointers on socializing her to humans not in my family, Im just trying to walk her, and introduce her to the elements in my area, She also doesnt like when you grab her collar or put a leash on, but once on ok

@Eishwtf These are amazing dogs! I have a 10 month old Presa and he is great with people, cats and other dogs.This breed is very receptive to training! If you socialize them they are great in public. Also keep in mind that these dogs are very protective and wont back down if someone it threating you!
