I've cried everytime I've listened to this song since 1997. The scene in the movie is so powerful that now I cry even if I'm not watching the movie and I'm only listening to the song.

Thank you for posting. I love this. Have the scenes been 'removed'? Does anyone know if there's still anywhere you can still see the end scene this comes from? It's only the last few minutes of the film but I love it.

this is one of three of the best scores that Carter Burwell has composed and conducted. The other two are Burn After Reading and Twilight

Fantastic. The movie was meh, (I really enjoyed it, but from a purely critical stantpoint it kinda fell on its face 3/4 of the way through, and the love story didn't really convince me at all,) but the score is breathtaking. Thanks for posting!

I don't know.....looking at Julia Robert's reaction twice when Jerry was trying to tell her that he was taken by those guys and the end when he tells her about her real father's death story made me tear.

Gibson was perfect for the part. Your right about the story kind of "falling" midway. But those two actors are pure awesomeness.
