this is the seat that i ride and i love it. even if some people throw a fit about the bits they use or anything else. a really smooth horse is needed for this. i love my morgan and arabian they are so smoth wihle in a saddleseat class

I ask this purely out of genuine interest, not to attack in any way - but why do I consistently see an almost chair seat on saddle seat riders? Their heels are definitely in front of their shoulders. And when they post the trot it never seems very smooth, probably due to this - they fall back in the saddle quite a bit as the horse's loin comes up to meet them, and you can see a slight 'thud' each time. Why?

English Pleasure? Only in the USA & Canada. This is as far from a Pleasure Class as you could get. Creating Arabians to be a pseudo Saddle Bred is a travesty and I have ridden & shown saddle seat in three Breeds.
