The tempo should be that of the band that wrote this song, in this case being Earth Wind and Fire. The tempo seems about right if you're matching it with the original.

No, its a bit fast. Especially if you are playing the bass part. It tough to make that clean. If you slowed it down a little, it would be more accurate for one, but you will also play a lot cleaner. Also, that could be because of the recording, I understand.

Anyways, great sound! Great size! That is a hell of a highschool band.

there is no "correct" tempo. a band arrangement is not typically taken as fast as the original song just for clarity sake.. which it struggles with here
