it was made in the 1970's on a cheap budget in china. it still kicks ass, all of these films do, the choreography is a hundred times better than any of the shit america makes. go watch transformers like a bitch.

sorry for calling you a bitch haha. anyways, the american film industry is well known for being cheap, lazy, and mind dulling. the films produced that influence the teenage audience include a very very simple story line, acompanied with usually alot of stunts or gore which requires not alot of thinking or work, but still makes a ton of money. Children movies such as disney are usually computer animated, which again is very inexpensive i hear. (see other comment)

@teewoods I wasn't talking about ALL genres. Mainly action. For example, the A-team movie that just came out. Piece of shit and i knew it would be. Every 10 years you'll get a really good movie people actually put some time it. But point is most hollywood movies are shitty for the sole purpose of making a profit using cheap special effects. I respect these shaolin movies so much because they're low-budget and they still have AMAZING choreography which tells me they do it for the art.

The original intentions of making a movie was to express ones opinions or ideas through a true work of art. Now it's just money. The least Hollywood can do is make movies that actual look like they put some time and thought into it. Now it's just bullshit that makes people stupider. I find these kung fu movies great because they were made low budget with no intent to make any money, because they never did. they are made with excellent choreography that cannot compare to today's. wonderful

It's about a guy who had several master, each teaching him unique kungfu but his masters was killed by this guy who wields a knife as a weapon.. then he learned how to defea this guy by countering the knife attack wearing slotted shirt?? I used a lithuanian torrent site but its invite only, however you can just go on piratebay, they got good selection of torrents, i just searched for evil cult on there now and they have a few different downloads that are all probably fine quality.

what happend was this guy stole a book of kung fu styles but one and he masterd the knives called the bloody birds then he fought his teacher. the teacher had the secret to the last style and it was you have to put them all together for the final style. please if you could find it and put it on youtube i

The movie you call the 16 styles is called shaolin mystagogue with Carter Wong, Hsu Feng and Chang Yi as the main characters. Pull it up on youtube. Thats were I first saw it. It was pretty good.
