  • very good. :)

  • @nezraal - thanks!

  • Excellent music & cool guitar too! I play acoustic a little & also loved the cameo @ 3:15 on the Rodrigo Rockout vid :) We give it 3 thumbs up from all the bubble weirdos at WindBubbles - Adam

  • @BubbleMachines - I'll be sure to tell my buddy Anne that she is slowly going viral! thanks Adam, have been happily using your very clever design to make some bubbles when I'm doing cafe gigs, they work great outside and get lots of attention! thanks to you and Da Crew, tell 'em they've gotta big fan in me... cheers buddy, thanks for the kind words... Eric

  • what is the difference between the chapman stick and the krappy guitar?

  • @jamesedwardtheobald - the biggest difference is that Chapman sticks are made by Emmett Chapman, the inventor of the stick; and as such, he owns the copyright to the design and the name, and rightfully so; they are excellent instruments and cost between $1500 and $3000, depending on the setup, pickups, woods etc... Krappys are made by Kevin Siebold, are played just like a stick and can be setup tuned like a stick, and cost $800... the math spoke to me, so I'm a Krappy kinda guy...

  • great !!!!

  • @battousaicrescent - you are very kind, i appreciate that... just added another vid last night, hope you get a chance to check it out as well... cheers, Eric

  • Very nice. I know nothing about your instrument;-) But very nice

    Frank

  • @FrankRMusic - thanks for stopping and listening in Frank... it's an amazing instrument, like playing bass and guitar at the same time... you can play orchestral reductions, piano pieces, whatever the heck you want it can do it... anyway, thanks for the kind words, and i'm gonna see what you have going on your channel... cheers, buddy... eric

  • @theedlos Hi, thank you, now a word comes through my mind: Chapman stick;-) Right? I don´t remember if Chapman is the trademark or a musician ;-)

    Frank

  • @FrankRMusic - you got it right, Frank... this instrument is basically a clone, although i do tune it differently... can't call it a chapman stick because Mr Chapman, inventor and musician, zealously defends his creation's trademark name, and rightfully so, and this ax isn't made by him... but it's the same type of instrument no doubt, good call!

  • nice job brother tapper

  • @Eiende - thank you so much, i'll be sure to check your channel and see your stuff too, brother tapper!

  • Ordered mine today.

  • @divingrox24 - you ordered a 12 string from kevin? do tell me about it, how are you getting it set up etc? congrats, you're gonna love it...

  • @theedlos Yeah, deposit went through a couple of hours ago.

It's a twelve string similar to his "Woods uncrossed 4ths" featured in his gallery but with a slightly shorter bottom horn.

I'm not positive yet, but I too may go with uncrossed 4ths.

We haven't discussed any of the smaller details yet...

I'm hoping to be one if the first Australians to have one.

  • @divingrox24 - good luck... i think phil addams is also down under, and owns a krappy... my 4ths are crossed, but i'm looking fwd to hearing how you like uncrossed... you will have a lot of fun, congrats!

  • Such a nice sound! What tuning are you using, and what effects are you using? Whatever you are using, it sounds very nice!

  • thanks tapladder! i tune my touch guitar in 4ths, low c on bass ascending in 4ths, low c# in melodies, also ascending in 4ths; as a classical player, i really want to be able to play scalar passages in the bass, and 4ths make that work; bass in 5ths won't work 4 ez scales... i run both channels thru my streetcube, using the jc clean with reverb on the melodies, and the bass is completely dry- i go straight to the mac thru a behringer usb box, and listen to the mix over phones in real time.

  • What a beautiful sound my friend. Gotta get a cd from you soon. and please post some more soon...Lots of support from your Oregon Buddy..!!!

  • norm, thanks so much for coming by; appreciate your kind words more than you know... cheers, and can't wait to see you and your family @ the reunion... Cheers buddy... E
