@amazo88 I would say angle of the camera. Shows a head on shot. This would from in front of the shooter appear to be higher than the line of sight. If you take the same stance even sitting in my chair right now and pretend to sight down the barrel of a handgun, your face will be obscured. making the gun appear higher.

@bcmom5 it's the recoil on the beretta, if they actually had her shoot a real one. The kick back on that gun actually pulls in a more upwards direction so her finish on that shot pulls the gun up higher so it's partially the angle and partially the gun itself

@funnyhuuny90 lol! I always preferred Kibbs (Kate+Gibbs) I know he had his fatherly moments but those two were just so funny together. Like Tony+Ziva have great interaction but in season 1+2 I felt there was more tension between Kate and Gibbs, rather than Kate and Tony.

(I also love the scene in Dead Reckoning - I think that's the ep - where she shoots 2 guns at the same time, when protecting someone in the safehouse!) Practice. Practice, practice, practice, and practice some more. Ziva probably learned to shoot sharply through saturation training - meaning she probably practiced till she got sick of it but her instructors made her shoot some more whether she liked it or not.

LOL! Using Ziva's example here in this scene, "saturation training" results in the human body being automated to fire the weapon; no warm-ups, no checking your stance, grip, sight-alignment, etc. It all comes second-nature.

That's why Ziva was so quick to point out the bad sights on the Marine's Beretta.
