You should try an Image Dynamics subwoofer, i have one of 8" in a sealed box with a memphis mcclass amp at 300 watts and 4 ohms, and the sound is so f*king bautiful, cuz i hear a lot of metal, progressive and jazz music.

I've had diferent brands, sizes and enclousures for woofers, but this last setup i think is the best i ever heard (for me). Cheers!

they are both pretty different. think you have more recording freedom on the mv8000, but I haven't used it before. I'd say you could express yourself as a musician more indivdually on the mv8000. the 909 is more DJ style based.
