Hahah, we used wooden swords, and sanded them down so they looked kind of more sword/sharp ish... and spray painted them a metallic silver and kept the handles black.

Some more info: On some of the swords you may notice that we kept them completely black and didn't paint the blades steel. We actually did create the "emerald sword," but we never shot it. The one in the opening credits isn't actually the real one.

Ah, on a note of the Emerald Sword. The blade is suppose to be steel. The reason it's called the Emerald Stone is because of the Emerald in the handguard. According to "The Myth of the Holy Sword" anyway...
