As a culture we are obessed with insecurity. We are always the first of all races to show the most pride but yett still we are like little lambs, weak and fragile. We are scared of our true selves. I personally have never worn hair weave because my family is one of much mixture. Cuban and black Jamaican mother with a Jamaican mulatto father. But yett still i believe in loving me as my own. As for relaxed hair im more open to it because i see it as just creating managibilty. but i digress.......

i respect your opinion,but i have to say our insecurities as black people stem from us being told for the last 400 years that we ain't shit and our hair is ugly and our brown skin is nasty...we as blacks need cultural privacy so as to council ourselves,instead of trying to live like our oppressors..our hair is how the creator intended and its about time we manage it accordingly and deal with it..
