I actually think this is the perfect song for Gloria's type of voice. To me, this song always felt like it was a song Karen Carpenter might have sung and Gloria's voice is remarkably similar to Karen's. I know Gloria once recorded this in Spanish back in 1980 with Miami Sound Machine but I would if she recorded it in English for a studio album. Beautiful voice. Beautiful Person. Beautiful song.
