@MrMonsterman101 yeah i agree, Chernov could have recovered from the flamethrower attack and could have been damaged from the brain thinking he is another soviet called Nikolai Belinski. either that or treyarch decided to just copy a sprite from the game just because they didnt feel like making a new character sprite.

One thing i have noticed is all the characters from zombies have been copied

.....This mission was probably my most hated downfall was insanelyh easy compared to this you start walking up and you get to the 88's and the front of the Reichstag and bam you see about 50 plus germans.....and that whole chernov being torched.....he survived...you can just tell he survived...ppl have been burned in rl and lived i have a friend who's face is all scarred from a burn back when we were kids...overall great game....record for nazi zombies round 379 hell ya!!!

I just destroyed the last 2 88s and i found out that after the 1st 2, going into the small building and throwing a cocktail at the one on the right and running for it is much easier. Then you have to make your way over to the other one wile watching out for the enemy that were not killed to the left wile you run over to it.
