Half-pagan & half-atheist huh? That's a cool combo. I'm not an atheist, but after coming out of a rather fanatical fundie xtian belief system, I've become a lot more rational & have come to respect atheists a lot more. Plus, I watch a lot of their videos & am friends with a lot of 'em on YouTube. So, kudos!
And yes, Blackmore's Night is one awesome band. I love how she sings the lyrics with that *crystal* clear voice of her's.

BN are a hard band to classify.
My music store calls them "METAL" (!!!) probably because of the Ritchie Blackmore connection.
Some people call them "CELTIC" (???) or "RENAISSANCE".
I actually think of them as a mixture of all those and more!
There is a huge amount of light and shade in their albums which makes their music hard to classify and beautiful to listen to!
