Thank heaven someone else remembers the Letter People the way they used to be (and should have stayed...wrecking a classic program in the name of nutrition and feminism was a crying shame). Five stars!
Yeah, I know what you mean; kids' TV has gone down the toilet these days. It surprises people that I'm only 17 and remember the old Letter People (not to mention classic Sesame Street- I watched reruns and rented/owned countless tapes). My kindergarten teacher was cool enough to still use the real Letter People, not that nicey-nice new crap.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I plan on making individual tributes for each of the Letter People, not to mention a slideshow of pictures of my CATS costumes/makeup.
Which letter person will you do first? I also have the "Memories of Letter People Land" record if you want to make that into a multimedia presentation too...I had visions of that happening.
I'll probably do either Mr. H or Mr. N first (I'm kind of leaning toward Mr. N first, just because my name starts with N... yes, I am quite aware that I'm weird). If there's one you're really dying to see right now, let me know and I'll get on it. The individual tributes will include screenshots from the show, the original black-background posters, pictures from books or other materials if available, and my own drawings.
Oh, man, I hadn't thought about that. Plus, Mr. Q's song is really lame. I might have to have each picture up for a full minute or so just to make the video long enough...
Either way, I can't wait to see your drawings. And Mr. Q's song isn't that great, the only thing it has going for it is that it kinda sounds a bit like Chopin.

Whichever one you choose first is fine. I just wanted to let you know that you might be hard pressed to find Mr. Q stuff.
