  • Except that this "yellow cab" is RED!!! Hello!!! Dry clean his tails? Now who exactly was the technical advisor for this shit? Hello!!!

"The movie is a master piece..." Get real!!! Do you really believe that "specialists" use Commercial airliners to travel to jobs? No. Do you really believe that "specialists" use taxi cabs? No. Do you really believe that "specialists" show their faces and break the ice with cabbies?

Talk about brain washing. Your brains have been dry cleaned!!!

  • @rjc071 award for you sir!For being another of the useless idiots who try their best to be interesting in the internet!Congrats!

  • This scene should have been left in.

  • @jakedill1104 Agreed. A very interesting scene which explains Vincent's approach to how he conducts his job, and also gives us an insight into what he possibly did before he became a contract killer. The film and director hints at maybe the character was former Special Forces, highly trained, not only in firearms but as a very clear, logical & precise thinker as well. This has to be Cruise's most interesting film to date and yet again another finely crafted film from Michael Mann.

  • Cruise's greatest performance, and no one's seen it.

  • they deleted this part because they use same trick with helicopter and LAX in Heat

  • It's my favourite movie by Michael Mann, even better than Heat to me! Thx for the vid.

  • @DarkDarvor You're welcome :)

  • @DarkDarvor It's darker than Heat, it's got better cinematics, but only due to being a decade more recently made: I'll make a comparison.

Collateral has a better concept, with Heat being an excellent ride, but basically a standard cop caper. But Heat had a fantastic new-era pacing that Callateral has too, but Heat pioneered, so the point goes to Heat.

Both Heat and Col. had fantastic action scenes, but Heat had the best shootout maybe of all time.

    Overall, Heat was more groundbreaking.

  • @DarkDarvor

Mine too, first time I saw it as a little kid I hated it, now I love it, watch it every now and then.

  • The movie is a master peace

    Fantastic

    So original

  • Awesome upload. If I remember correctly, this was in the theatrical cut. First R-rated movie I saw in theatres. One of my favorite movies!

  • I literally can't get enought of watching this movie, this movie defenitely goes to my BEST MOVIES TOP 10, it's terrific movie of such unique director Michael Mann who always pushes things to the limit, just absolutely brilliant movie and Tom was very amazing in the movie

  • @futureboyzi Collateral is my second favourite Mann film behind Heat, a modern masterpiece.

  • Michael Mann is the king

  • Truly great director.

  • Where CAN we download this ass-kicking track? Why won't Mr. Rothrock throw it up on iTunes?

  • He put it up on his MySpace in late 2006 thanks to me. The track is called "LAX." I still have it archived somewhere (unfortunately at 96kbps.) It would've been on the soundtrack, but like the uploader said, it was removed because this scene was deleted. Send me a PM if you want the download.

  • What's the song in the background ? I have searched everywhere but I can't find the title.

  • LAX by Tom Rothrock. It was originally intended to be on the official soundtrack but was excluded because the scene was cut from the film.

  • THANKS DUDE! THANKS!

  • But do you have any idea where I can download it ? I only found his song at his myspace account but you can't download it there
