These guys make me laugh. I am sure God gets a laugh out of it, too. God probally has a better sense of humor than we may think. but they forgot "Story-praying." "Father, I pray that you will help johnny, who fell off his bike today and had to go to the hospital for 16 stiches, but now he's at home and the docter said he'll be all right..."

I believe that "Story-praying" and the "way-of-relaying gossip" praying are actually one and the same. I know a woman who does this ALL the time and seems to be using it as a way of letting everyone know what is going on with her friends and family in full detail. It's strange and very irritating, IMO.
