@m1k32020 When I was there, there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of dogs that run rampant in iraq, some carried diseases, some were a food source. if they were a problem in a certain area, the dogs would get rounded up and killed. many dogs "learned" to be nice/ obediant towards ppl. Of course it was no wonder that when we americans treated the dogs better than the locals so they became attached to service members to the point where one private organization spawned to help adopt them.
