Hey nice video, the best way i find is.. Search for baron garayan, use the trick on large fish where you use different bait to see if it is a baron then if it doesnt go for it, use a potato cake, sometimes the fish go for either bait.. This way you know it is a mardan garayon as it only eats poison apples, i cought my very first baron garayon today 199cm :)

@xBFAB I know, Barons are always massive, and it's best to search for Mardans as they're much more common, and then have reserve potato cakes INCASE you spot a giant fish. That's when I go for it. :)

Man I was just INSANELY lucky just now. I caught FOUR Mardan Garayans in 5 minutes. I'm rolling in the fishing points!

just so ya know, you can catch it at any time of day. I literally JUST caught one in the morning time, just before clicking on this video (because I thought I was doing it wrong, haha)

@gnryeah Yup, A whopper too, 130 cm. It was definitely morning, because I continued fishing all morning, then afternoon, then dusk. At dusk I caught like, 5 of them. I think they might be easier to catch at dusk? but you can definitely catch them any other time, as well, so if you want you can fish all day, rather than wait til dusk

I thought you could also catch them in the second village?

@biftec15 Maybe you can, I've NEVER seen them there, and I think the guide said you can only find them here. Just stick with Muscka L/Racka if you can.

wow, you were really lucky to catch one so quickly! i've never been able to get one, i always get impatient and give up, haha.

@SnowyTerra They are rare, and only catchable during the dusk portion of the day. Like I said, I was expecting to be sitting there for a good 20 minutes trying to catch it. I was prepared to edit a lot out too. Luckily though, there was no such problem, thankfully. :D
