TEMPE - SUN DEVIL STADIUM - Yeah i remember freezing waiting in line overnight for tickets to it. I remember seeing Mick cruising in a limo going to the show or maybe that was the Steel Wheels Tour. Yeah the show did seem to start out flat, but by the 5th song the joint was a rocking and rocked harder as the show went on to a frenzied climax. Worth every memory. Hard to believe it was as long ago as it was, but my woman and I, along with our unborn son was there too and he's now 30 years old
Bill Wyman was under Keith and Mick`s thumb. I have read that he did not have the freedom to play bass lines he liked when recording in the studio, so that is why Bill´s live stuff is always great and studio lines not so good. Come back Bill, Stones is really Stoned without you and your walking bass style.
@SuperPoppy82 - did you see them at ford field a few years back? they're my fave band, but the building wasn't built for sound quality. the Bowid Shoe at the Silver dome was 'The" best concert, aside from Patti Smilth @ the Michigan theatre, that I've ever witnessed. I bet the silver dome was a better place to see the stones. ;)
I was 9 at this time. . And I remember going to my cousin's house because they had "OnTV" the cable station that played this. I get chills remembering this.
Love the helicopter shot at the beginning and how Mick works the crowd heading out to the wings a little bit at one point and generating an ovation (mastery)
That's the Gin Blossoms hometown. Maybe they were there on the Stage... Nothing to do with the video. Let's skroll back, you're missing it!

Tempe, Arizona. I was there, it was great. Check out the crowd surge. Joe Ely and then George Thorogood were the warm up acts. Fine performances.
