because with balett you destroy your body in a slow way. it´s okay if you are older and you know what it means to dance but if you are 10 or younger it´s simply too early

first of all, the "first girl on pointe" in the video is wearing regular pointe shoes, not 'blocks', as someone else suggested. And she's clearly strong enough to be on pointe, regardless of age.  Strength and technical ability is the most important consideration in going en pointe. Not to mention, as someone else pointed out, she was 12 years old when this footage was taken, apparently.

the little boy with the tie dances at orlando ballet as well. the girl with the one legged pants and one armed shirt at about 3:18 is from orlando ballet. the guy in thew chair dance is from orlando ballet, and the black boy after the chair dance is with the orlando ballet company.

i used to be on pointe, im not 19, but they make a softer version of a pointe shoe for girls not old enough to be on pointe, it just gets their feet ready to be placed in the regualr pointe shoes...

theyre not points, theyre called blocks. You have to use them in pre professional grades at the RBS.
