her name came from her mother's maiden name which was beyince and they said thats what they would name their child if they had a boy but since it was a girl they changed it to beyince :) next...LOL

then her mother, tina knowles, called her baby girl Beyonce, after Beyonce's grandmother, Beyince.

Beyince is baisically the one that started the House Of Dereon Fashion line, then Ms. Knowles, then Beyonce.
