I owned a 180hp Husky and I can tell you it has PLENTY of power. It takes off shorter than it lands. Any plane that does that has plenty of power. Husky's a great airplane. It may have some shortcomings, but power is not one of them.
Wonderful vid, and I appreciate you posting. One thing about the Husky is that it sorely needs more POWER under the cowling! Aviat should've had a light weight 235hp option ages ago. Lightweight engine (using modern materials), composite prop, etc.. Design the plane as if it had to regularly work in Telluride, CO on windy afternoons... then you're left with a plane that won't be underpowered at MTOW in a place like Denver, or Dirty Devil ;)
