Syringomyelia (SM) Inspires Man to Help End The Suffering

The NS I consulted with ASSURED me that SM does not cause pain. I can't imagine what is causing me this monster that lives in my spine every minute of the day. I have SM in my thoracic. T3-T8. I have a large cyst that they finally found on MRI's done with contrast this past November. Absolutely no one will operate, they all say it is too damn risky.

i have SM also...had surgery 3 years ago and live in horrible, chronic pain. any ideas anyone can share to ease the pain? or share your expereinces? blessings to us all..this is a horrible disorder

I have SM and live with chronic pain. I have a syrinx in my neck and the larger one in my mid-back. I had problems with back pain since I was a kid but was only diagnosed in 2001. It has totally ruined my life. Nobody understands what I'm going through, the public and doctors need to be better educated about this condition. I am totally frustrated.

I've had this since a car wreck in 1998, diagn, in 2000, surgery in 2000 .. TERRIBLE pain .. ugh

You can pray for your suffering to end. It may work. I prayed for there to be an end to suffering a few months back and after that the public has been nicer. God bless you and God please make your suffering end. I love you.
