The only time that I have seen the SW 3rd Ave hole-in-the-wall shop without a line was last December, on a cold and rainy night. The Davis St shop is much larger, and I've never seen it with a line outside. The travel time there is a lot less than 45 minutes, too!
i went there today, line was almost as long, not rounding around the corner, but when i showed up i was standing right at the curb/street, 45min wait, i think the full sized shop has seating and more registers
the line was worth it
