  • ya i stripped the vertical speed from the lateral speed so it would be easier to see consistant speeds while jumping around when testing. Id keep it seperate still, but ill add it in. the x/y/z positiion though, I cant think of any time really where that would be usefull. Well mabey if you had to do a jump at a very specific part, you could tell where to line up before hand. But ya i guess the more info the better

  • The main use of that is determining your perfomance in non-linear parts where plain horizontal/lateral speed does not suffice. Otherwise the only way to say which way is faster would be looking at textures and polygons to estimate your position... And that doesn't really work.

    Also, it can be used to optimize bhopping, since every deviation from the straight line is a potential waste of time, so cutting corners and such is in order.
