Been there done that. Ive tried to film before and just couldnt get it out and wound up eating and just going to sleep. Thanks for sharing this, this is real life stuff.
I hate speaking in front of people and bet even worse in front of camera. Thanks for showing. Practice helps I have heard. =-). Keep up the good videos.
I aint gonna lie and say I dont make mistakes and have to edit, we all know everyone does it, but just relax brother. just picture one person in your head your talking to....like a wife, or best friend, and say what you got to say to them. and when I make a mistake, I will pause, and say cut...then start at that point...then just edit it together rather than start all over, especially if you need to get the vid done in a hurry. Great laughs though...I may slin some of mine up...lol
Sounds like me. Sometimes takes me forever to get my point out and then I don't use it or when it's done I just delete the whole project. I would say that I have deleted eight projects cause I didn't think that they were good enough.
way to go its not just me that cant talk when the camera goes on my vocabulary is reduced to alot of erms erms and more erms lol showed this the mrs she had a right giggle thought we could have a great convo together NOT .
Well, I'm glad I'm not the only who does15 takes in order to spit out the right words. Whats amazing is some times I have to speak infront of large groups, and I can do that just fine. Go figure! Thanks
Thanks for posting this Back2DaBasix. Public speaking is one of the hardest things to do and making videos is no different. Shows how much work goes into making a video. Thumbs up for showing this. Fan of your vids. Keep it up.
I have started to do my own videos and do the same thing. I am working on it so I can finally post my first! LOL! Brave and courageous to post this and keep up the videos, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!
Hey man, that's dedication. Takes longer to make videos, less time for securing shelter, food, and fire. That's a reality. I often imagine all that Les put himself through.
Hey this was a good video. It shows what most of us can go through with public speaking. We should all know our strengths and weaknesses. Keep at it. I liked your previous video on setting up a shelter at night. Thanks, wtr7
Buddy I just can't stop laughing and I'm not laughing AT you. I really am laughing with you. I have been attempting to make some videos myself and find myself doing many of the same things you're doing. MUCH credit to you for posting this and MUCH THANKS too. Kinda sets others at ease to see that we aren't the only ones who can look a little silly on videos. BTW you're doin a GREAT job on these vids thanks for putting them up. Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year!
ROFL.... Most of the time I dub sound into my vids to cut down on wind noise and have to cut sections out where I've gone stupid......LOL. I thought that I was the only one that messed up a lot while doing these videos. I'm like you, when reviewing my vids I've learned things about myself I never knew I did and/or say......LOL. I'll have to start saving them and one day post them. Have fun and Take Care. :-))
I LMAO! I can't tell you how many times I've re-shot the same vid 10 times! My problem is that I assume the viewer knows what I should be saying, and what is important, therefor it will be obvious if I mis-speak. That, and the telephone ringing, incoming text message, or baby crying screwing up my rhythm. Thank goodness I've learned how to edit my vids so I don't always have to start over.
