@laika288 I disagree but there you go. If you look at the sixties, when the Stones, Beatles, Doors, Who, Led Zep were all around at the same time and compare that to now it's a huge difference.

The only modern rock bands I like are QOTSA and Biffy. There's not the same amount of quality bands at the moment than. I don't know your music taste, I suspect it's good seeing as you're on this video, but you may disagree and that's fair enough but for me there's a lot of crap around at the moment.

Though I have to say, the bands you listed there are the older equivalent of U2 and Coldplay. That is, mainstream as can be (some of them duly popular).

There are 30x more genres these days, music is super divided, but it has produced some killer sounds. In this day and age, there are unsung bands that would've been HUGE in the 60s.

There's always bad music, especially top 40.. 1967 when Sgt Peppers and Are you Experienced came out, the Monkees had two of the highest selling albums. People have selective memory.
