There is no evidence that vaccines cause any sort s of health problems, including autism. By refusing to vaccinate your children, you are putting them in danger they could avoid easily. Scarlet fever never had a vaccine yet the rates went down as fast as the other diseases around the time. My favorite example is whooping cough. There are more possibility's to decrease the risk of some types of infections. Not all viruses are highly infective but if you get infected the effect can be enormous (like polio).

For the flu: the characteristic of flu viruses is their possibility to change. That's why a new vaccine has to be made every year while other, less infective viruses, are, so far, more stable. For real good protection a series of vaccination is needed and that's not possible with flu vaccines.

The PH balance thing mentioned is not true - our kidneys and lungs keep our pH pretty much perfect except in the case of disease so severe we are near death.
