aww! this is when TrippE got the lion toy! I should have known it was Nana who got it for him lol! Tripp and Jack are so much alike at this age...they make the same noises and everything! freakin' love this stage! its like the end of baby-ness, I'm trying to soak it all in!

He is soo cute! Random question but when Tripp had that staph infection how many times a day did he have to take the cephalexin? and did he take it well? I have to give it to my daughter and she hates the stuff so I'm having a hard time getting it into her..

We had to give it to him, I believe every 6 hours. We used a dropper to give it to him and we kind of just had to force it his his mouth. He didn't really mind it, but he didn't love it lol

thank you..that was what the doc told us to do too..just wanted to double check though since it was a outpatients doc and not her real doctor since she is on vacation...it is horrible trying to give her that stuff though she instantly spits it out!! must taste like crap..lol

Aww poor thing! Haha Tripp's tasted like bubble gum! (I taste everything a little b4 I give it to him. Weird? Maybe lol) So I think it was just really sweet for him!

lol no that's not really weird it's just a mom thing I think! How long was it before Tripp's staph went away? and how long was he on the meds for? I'm going on day 10 today and it's still not gone so I guess I'm just looking for a range here of when it may be gone..lol

Well, luckily we caught it pretty early. He was on meds for about 2 weeks and it started clearing up within days of being on it. It didn't totally go away until about a week after he finished his medicine though. However, that was just the scars. The actual infection was completely gone.
